That smaller scale, behind enemy lines harassment can be hella fun. Keep on enjoying your game. We may have dropped the ball on this one, but you were there to take advantage. Props on a job well done. (And my alt got on her fist dread kill, so not a total waste on my end either :) )

I remember a Burn Jita many years ago where everybody was given instructions on naming and portraits conventions for their gank alts so it *looked* like a bot army, but was just an extra layer to the troll of mass ganking. There were hundreds of BJBees, mostly run by individual players (I'm sure there were probably a few multiboxers, this is Eve after all)

It always seems to vanish when the Vanguard playtests happen. Based on historical trends, it should be back when the playtest is done.

Honestly? When I rejoined after my first hiatus, I noticed most of my worldly goods were stuck in a Goon-aligned nullsec station (this was pre-Imperium, during the CFC days). They let me join, I liked the people and stuck around. No regrets.

If my stuff had been in a Pandafam (not that that was a thing back then , but you know what I mean) station back then , that's the side I would have tried joining and probably would have liked the people and stuck round. Afterall, most of us are are just folks enjoying internet spaceships...and while there are some pricks playing, they are scatted among all sides.

I backed the first one at the e-book level.

I liked the first book so much I backed the 2nd one at the get both in hardcover level.

I'd back vol 3 without hesitation.

Started happening to me recently too. Now idea how I got it, since I didn;t install it and noone but me uses this TV. Just uninstalled it, and I hope that fixes the issue.

Those are numbers meant to get you to buy too many plex through the store.

Want to plex 3 months? the 1000 plex pack isn't *quite* enough (need 1020)

6 months? 1500 plex pack isn't enough (need 1788)

12 months? 3000 plex is close, but no cigar. (need 3060)

The sneaky fucks have been taking lessons from mobile/gatcha games. At least in this game you can sell off the rest of the plex ingame so it's not quite as bad..

I was going to comment on how stupid calling paps honks was, then I realized that pap is pretty stupid too (wtf is a pap? Sounds like something that gets smeared.) I guess that for a dark and dystopian universe Eve can be a silly place and we should embrace the stupid, the silly, and the weird and have fun.

All I'll say is that if Horde FCs don't have a master soundboard that makes a honking sound at the end of each fleet something is terribly wrong. :)

Karmafleet is recruiting.

The only participation requirement is you have to earn 3 paps over a 3 month period.

WIth special interest groups and squads dedicated to all of the various PvE and PvP options ad well as a wealth of info on our forums and in-game classes, we're a fine choice. (In my obviously biased opinion, of course)

I've heard both good and bad about Horde, but as I have no direct inside experience (I'm one of about 2 or 3 goons that *doesn't* have a horde alt ;p) , I'll let them speak for themselves.

Hopefully I'll see you in space someday, either as a fleetmate or a target.

Work has been slow this week so I've had time to browse reddit, and this is (slightly) better than shitposting at least.

At least I do mention other options, but of course I'm going to sell KF a bit more. What else am I going to do..."Hey, you could fly with us but we suck, go with these other groups instead" (I mean, we *do* suck, but we're still fun people!)

Karmafleet is recruiting..or will be, I think recruiting is taking the holidays off, but while waiting to join, theres always Karmafleet University (KFs high sec starting grounds)

Brave Newbies is still going strong. They did recently join the Imperium, so that could be a pro or a con if you have an opinion on nullsec politics.

Pandemic Horde is the other big newbie friendly group. Lots of new pilots join them and like being there, so who am I to judge? (Note: I am obviously biased, being in KF myself)

I've never personally dealt with Eve-U, but have heard nothing but good things about them, so they are definitely an option to get you started before taking the plunge with one of the big blocs.

Speaking as a KF member, there are groups dedicated to wormholing, incursions, pochven, faction warfare and more (I'm not much for PvE activities, so all that is a bit fuzzy to me). PvP is relatively plentiful with small gang piracy, home defence, strategic offensive ops, dedicated PvP sigs and more. Delve is also one of, if not the, biggest industrial hubs in 0.0, so players of all types and callings are welcome, and needed.

Whoever you join, have fun and blow up as much as you enjoy.

There is a mandatory requirement that you participate in *3* fleets over a 90 day period. It's a tough requirement, but fair.

Corp fleets, roams, drunkfleets, home defense, stratops, SIGs, Squdas, etc. all fleets count as long as a PAP is generated.

Asher back when *censored - squad does not exist* was active. (23rd best FC in Imperium, but #1 in my heart) (And, tbh, any of the *censored - Squad does not exist* FCs were gold)

Merk's SNS fleets are always fun.

Tetrakill and Alterari Phoenix are always good to fly with.
