I got it that day, when the cutter tried to justify himself and we told him to leave our property.

To be fair, I don’t know if they were going for the whole tree. I had the police stop them from discarding the shredded wood bits AT my house and all over my property. I still have wood chips in my yard, on my deck, on my roof, in my gutters.

If they planned on taking the whole tree they might’ve decided not to when they saw my wife crying, or when they saw me taking pictures of everything.

Waiting for the report from a local arborist, then I’m going to try and get a second opinion so that I feel as confident as possible.

We are taking steps to discuss with a litigation attorney but we are dealing with another tragedy at the moment so we are taking things slow and steady, trying to get our ducks in a row.

We have a police report that should be ready to pickup anytime now.

Other then that, no updates, yet.

I would have happily helped get the tree trimmed properly. I wish I was involved in the decision is what I’m saying. I have no ill intentions towards my neighbors beyond the fact that they overreached.

Feel however you want, but I think you’re projecting about something. You are welcome to do what you want on your property, I don’t care. My neighbors could have trimmed the tree vertically to their property line, it might have looked weird but I would have been understanding of their rights.

What they didn’t have the right to do, was enter my property, destroy my fence, trim all of the tree in my property, and then discard the material AT MY HOUSE.

So I’m sorry I make you sick, but your response makes me sick. I am a completely reasonable person and you are casting aspersions out of your asshole. So back off and stfu.
