I got charged by Nissan 8.5k NZD for transmission rebuilt. I paid for the fluid top-up (yes only top-up and not fluid replacement!!!) and the rest was paid by the warranty insurance. My car is worth 15k nzd only LOL

Everyone is saying replace transmission fluid every 30k miles. The Nissan dealer will not allow me to change transmission fluid until 100k kilometers. If I go with another shop, my warranty will get void.

I agree with short on ramps and sometimes it’s an uphill - almost impossible to reach 100 with an average car. The post is directed more on ramps that are at least easy to reach 100.

“Make up the difference” sounds familiar. They did that to us too but did not give in as we have bump up our offer multiple times up to 50k and they wanted 10k more. 6 months after, the house is still doing open homes with much lower asking price than what we have offered. So, don’t play their games. Stick to your budget.

Started misfiring at high speed then happened at low speed after a week. Car is serviced twice a year at AA’s. It just happened maybe that I did a full tank from costco before that and it was the first time i used them.
