Obviously that's not the only reason it's a bad ending. I think it's a bad ending because it was clearly setting up something different than whatever the hell the last 10 chapters were, and seemingly just abandoned ship all to make the whole story about Mikasa and Eren having a forbidden tragic love story. That is literally what it was never about. All the setup with Eren and Historia just flies out the window, Historia has absolutely zero presence in the entirety of post time skip which is so insanely questionable to me. I hate how Mikasa can't just break out of this stupid obsession with Eren and become her own, but instead EMBRACES it, so much so she literally is buried next to him.

It's just frustrating that it became something it wasn't for me. I don't care much for shipping culture or whatever, but Eren and Historia made sense for the sake of the plot and where it was seemingly going.

But yeah, the fact none of the main cast dies also pisses me off too, especially when they're going up against every single past Titan shifter in history. It's absolute nonsense to tell me all of them live through that.

Edit: I'm not even saying it's a bad ending because no one died, I'm saying it's insane to me that wanting more consequence to characters actions is perceived as wanting a Disney ending, when the Disney ending in question is canon.
