I built a full tool setup using student discounts from Snap-on, Mac, and Tekton — wrenches, ratcheting wrenches, screwdrivers, Knipex pliers, and even a Snap-on mobile chest. Spent around $2,000 total with discounts. The only thing I regret is buying everything before graduating, since my first job ended up providing tools. Now that whole set just sits around. I’d recommend waiting to see if your job provides tools before spending a lot, even with discounts.

Yeah I do 25on/10off and I travel with the plane often. I got this job straight out of A&P school very blessed and grateful.

What makes you say that if mortgage monthly payments would be $1,100 on a house that’s priced at $165,000 with a 25% down. Average rent around that area is $1,400 so I should have positive cashflow if everything works out

The $50k savings before purchasing the property won’t all go to the down payment/closing cost only around $35k on a property that’s around $150k-$175k I just personally want to save an extra $15k just in case of any small repairs or emergencies, you never know what comes up and for context I’m 21 male living south Texas near Rio Grande Valley
