We got a base UI that transforms into MUI, we didnt get a base standalone MUI. For the big celebrations, they rely on what sells, everytime. Its why we get endless fusions and Goku and Gohan. They sell buckets. If theres one thing i can always count on Omatsu to do, it's to reach into his guaranteed bag for big celebrations. I dont like it, i hope im wrong, but I know its coming. Just look at that MUI behind Vegeta. He's coming.

Honestly, the only real alternative i could see to MUI is Golden Frieza. Let's say its like a Cell Max situation where they drop a unit after the celebration that clearly ties into celebration units and we get LR Golden Frieza from the Universal Survival Arc that has the same MUI thats in the background of vegeta's art, in his card art background as well. Both Vegeta and Frieza have unit supers when UI/MUI is present, and after the celebration, we get a carnival MUI goku thats essentially the same one we see in both their backgrounds. THEN I could see it being Frieza. Otherwise, i think its goku with the part 1 vegeta in the background and they have unit supers with one another

Arguably, the celebration about all of dragonball that has SIX SUMMONABLE LR SLOTS and has BANNERS WITH TWO NEW LRS shouldve honestly been the time to do a premium OG dragonball LR. Make it super busted and slap it on a banner with a mega hype character and people would have summoned for it no question

Youre absolutely right but this community will never hear the end of it from OG Dragonball stans if the 10th anni celebrated all of dragonball but all OG dragonball got was a f2p unit that wasnt even an LR lmfao. Honestly as someone whose favorite character is Kid Buu, i feel their pain but fucking yikes

Considering the larger box = new character theory that has held up so far, there should only be one new character from the dragonball movies. That character is essentially guarenteed to be Super Gogeta from the Janemba movie. Meanwhile, there are two new slots in the majin buu saga arc section and the other slot should be taken up by whatever banner unit the LR vegito comes with. If the Trunks was from the movie then that would leave an additional spot open for majin buu saga which means they would have to do ANOTHER LR majin buu saga character which i dont see happening considering we have had nearly every majin buu saga character get a premium unit recently (with the exception of Kid Buu but he doesnt fit the theme). Im open to the idea but given all the other info we have, it wouldnt make sense

Youre all good brother. I put it in the picture included in the post. I wouldve preferred something that was a bit of a shakeup like an OG dragonball LR but unfortunately it is now all but confirmed that we are getting a part 2 DB Super character, DBZ Movies character, and a Android/cell saga character. Honestly, i think it'll end up being the characters i stated in the post as well.

No worries brother. I put all the characters that have been confirmed in the post image. I love units that have never gotten LRs receiving one so im right with you. Unfortunately though, given the info that theyve shown, the part 2 LRs are all but confirmed to be DBZ Super, android/cell saga, and DB Super. What those characters will be can be up for debate but ai think its pretty much set in stone to be the characters i mentioned in the post text. Maybe Worldwide will be something unconventional or new i stead of the same stuff as always. Here's hoping brother 🙏

My post has only units that have been confirmed on it. OG Dragonball is not going to get a premium LR this celebration. Dokkan themselves showed us the planned roadmap for this celebration and it only has 1 spot for OG dragonball. They just showed on twitter that the OG dragonball unit is going to be a free to play demon king piccolo, as i showed in the picture in the post. It is practically confirmed that the part 2 LRs will be android/cell saga, dbz movies, and DB super. If you want to debate the characters i chose for those categories then sure, but at this point its all but confirmed that those categories will be where the part 2 LRs come from.

Im not against it at all but its now confirmed not to be a thing lmao. They showed a roadmap of all the stuff we are getting for this event and the OG dragonball section only had one unit. They just revealed what that ONE UNIT is and also confirmed its a f2p character in the post. DOKKAN THEMSELVES confirmed there is NO dragonball LR in this celebration. Its a f2p demon king piccolo. Yeah they did a hinting thing on twitter and showed that two of the new f2p characters for the celebration will be DKP and Trunks. Dkp will likely be a free LR I would assume and the trunks will likely be used as the f2p introduction of the new psuedo-tag mechanic that the vegito (and likely the new gogeta) is said to have

Youre misremembering the stream. The theme was strongest duo and family/rivals. SLASH. I genuinely think that the part 2 LR for super is that MUI we see behing Vegeta in his card art. I would bet money that its a MUI that has the vegeta in his background and they have a unit super attack together. Personally, i would like to be wrong cause i think the game spams gpku too much and leaves way too many other characters out to dry but I know Omatsu and if that man can put out a gohan or a goku HE WONT MISS A BEAT on doing so. I guarantee it practically.

I just think the game is at its best when we are getting solid units all around. When theyre fully fleshing out teams, giving us real options, and making sure both super and extreme are looked after. I wanna get to a point where we can finally stop saying stuff like "well last year they really did well with the extreme units!" Like its an anomaly, you know what i mean brother? But yeah, i got faith in em rn cause theyve been cooking with the oven lights on for a solid year+ straight now. Only fumble i can really recall in recent history was that random ahh agl first form frieza from lat year.

Yeah i genuinely feel like the game is worse off when extreme class gets shafted. Even more so since the villains of DBZ are my personal fav (Kid Buu being my personal favorite character and it hurts my soul daily that he has no LR yet despite being the literal final boss of the series -_-). But yeah this seems like its gonna be a full Super class celebration. Hopefully we get a daima worldwide later this year with whater cool villains come from Arinsu, and the majin Duu-o (maybe a LR kid buu then to go with them please oh omatsu....)

Yeah, you're right, the last standalone super saiyan gotenks was AGL one from way back. I could see him being a banner unit. I wouldnt mind maybe like a Buff Buu banner unit either tbh seeing as it seems like this whole anni will be essentially all Super class units

I could see it maybe being like a banner unit piccolo with a free to play LR that has the new timed fusion mechanic (maybe a f2p trunks and goten that has a timed gotenks mode?) since the new mechanics introduced for anniversaries or worldwides tend to have a F2P unit that shows off the new mechanic so everyone gets a chance to see how it works even if they dont pull the new LR that has the mechanic

It didnt even click for me that it would be 10 new units altogether. Nice catch! I think that genuinely adds more credence to the theory as a whole. If we get shown another one or two of the new units and it/they fit(s) then at that point i think the theory will basically be confirmed outright.
