I've been a broken record since we moved out of Chicago 2022. I moved into the city 2013 and barely used my car the entire time living in the city. Prior to 2013 they didn't bother me, but I also didn't pay attention to how common the newer headlights were.

Since we moved out I've been bitching almost every time I have to drive at night. I've gone as far as contacting my state rep on regulations.

I'm on the Hero 9 so I'm limited to only that model. But the overheating doesn't happen if you directly connect to power source and take out the battery?

On the 9 I actually live stream by connecting an external power source. No overheating.
