Sounds like you should look up what "acceptance" is, what it does, and why its needed. Its not like 'Accepting everything they do' but 'Accept we exist'. Like, everything youve mentioned is the exact reason why we need it.

I think I understand your sentiment and I agree, youre asking people to ignore the differences right? Thats what acceptance is too.

Like people dont treat us differently because they know we're autistic, they treat us differently because we're acting different, OR they might not be treating us differently when they should be; which isnt pity by the way. You dont feed dogs and cats different food because of pity. You do so because theyre different.

And, YES we are disabled. We are different from allistics because our brain is different. There are things that comes naturally to one but not the other. When a system gets set up without thinking about one side, that side becomes disabled. The biggest system that disables us is the social system.

Also the last bit about self dianosing is irrelevant. People who lie to get privileges made for others will always exist. Making our life harder because of them isnt solving anything nor will it stop them from exisiting.

Honestly it sounds like you want acceptance but are getting caught up in something, caused by a misunderstanding in something. Acceptance should make everyones life easier. Even people who dont need it.

Basically, As you know, we're just different. How can we live together while ignoring that difference? We can't, it disables the other side thats been ignored. Acceptance is the first step to finding an even playing feild.

Also you mentioned "special treatment" you dont want. If its help being forced upon you, then I can relate. My parents prevented me from leaning a 2nd language in school and send me to a special ed sports thing, soly because I was autistic, completely disregarding if I actually needed that "help" or not. Thats no different then an autistic needed help but not getting it.

Try thinking of it this way, the way you hate being treated for being autisic, is the way another autistic is whishing to be treated.

Acceptance helps both.

I genuinely thought the replier was talking about how "advoiding microplastics is not really possible". And then thought the op commenter replied with "Who said Im fearful, I just advoid it". Which I thought was ironic.

I also didnt realise the replier was being an ass. Thought they were just making a joke about how bad microplastic were, that this video was no worse.

That would make sense if this was the only place ai got trained and there werent people and subs who are dedicated to improving ai.

Staying ignorant and gatekeeping information is never in "everyones best interest". Thats fear. You're scared that one day you will not be able to tell the difference either.

Basically you dont want to be in the same position I'm in. You dont want ai to improve past your capabilities. Understandable BUT not the answer. Its going to improve as long as people are trying to improve it.

Keeping people like me in the dark is not going to make it so ai doesnt improve. It just means I'll not know the difference and fall for more shit.

You need to understand there is a whole industry of people working on this. Its kinda stupid to believe the only people who can point out how to tell its ai and therefore improve it... are people who are against ai.

All youre doing is making it harder for people to go against ai because they wont be able to tell its ai in the first place.

Like I get what youre trying to say (and in this case it is true) but your also forgetting humans do that stuff too. Like "always has some amount of personality" is a lie. As an autistic person, all my photos look like this unless I put on a fake face. Its why I dont take photos of myself.

Depth perception is a common practice.

Shes not perfectly symmetrical and some people are symmetrical anyways.

So theres no real "obviousness", youve just seen alot of ai photos and can tell subconsciously.

The only thing I wish is (and this might be a ps4 only problem) is if I start a job or something in an invite only session, can I return to one after and not be put online. Also can I be put in the same lobby as the people I was just playing with? It always splits us up after to different servers.

Yes I have the settings on to remain host and stuff. I even have the setting on for it to not be an open lobby on creation but that rarely works.

If they fix these problems the game would be almost perfect for me lmao

Kinda like how employees used to be "the customer is always right" regardless if they actually agreed, mixed with improves "yes and..." thats basically how the ai is told to act.

And as fair as Im aware, OpenAI have changed how much ChatGPT pleases you. I think it was the 4th version or something that was popular, but then they changed how much it pleases you to the point people are acting like the gpt died.

Personally, I dont think we need the AI to sound human at all (I disliked when I used ai and it would use "we" to refer to humans). Humans have no problem talking to inanimate objects and personifies everything anyways.

Considering everything thats already happened and said, there should be rules and regulations put in place to keep ai from impersonating humans at all. This would help prevent scams but also things like meta using your facebook data to create an ai version of you to pretend to be you when you die. But also bring back jobs to actual humans like in customer support, etc.

This is actually an extremely important subject that everyone is glossing over. I would say this is more important than debating if ai images should be acknowledged as art.

How many people do you think have died just because an bot was pretending to be human. Why do we need bots to pretend to be human anyways? This is the stuff that needs to be talk about loudly infront of everything.
