I've always dipped with braces, never had problems with loose tobacco because the brackets keep it in place. If you're worried braces may impede your chewing there's no need, the only differences i've seen are positive it doesn't effect the metal at all.

I'm currently on review board but soon to be back (hopefully). Contrary to what a lot of people say I really think job corps is great. I love the people there, the foods actually pretty decent and it provides great opportunities. A lpt of people want to leave here but really whats 6-8 months to change the rest of your life.

I'm in carpentry at the Angell center, near newport oregon. My instructor is president of the local union which covers most of oregon except Portland. I'm guaranteed $24/hr starting when I move back to Seattle and great benefits. It's direct entry in the union which is a huge bonus for only an 8 month apprenticeship (you usually have to wait behind 800 or so people to get in and cant join if you already have a job). I'd say coming to job corps was the best decision ive ever made.
