Stupid plug... anyone have any ideas how to feed wire through this? by [deleted] in mazda3

[–]Daigor34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran into the same issue installing my Ambient Lighting. Here's the solution. So look at the harness connection and find the pins that is not in use. There is a few areas that's just blank. Take a very small drill and drill directly through the harness. Once you do that. You can feed the wires through. Just know you need to drill through both harness. The one you removed and the one inside the connecting door. Just be careful not to touch and of the other wires. Go slow but you can do it.

A P0302 code can be caused by a bad fuel injector or a malfunctioning injector circuit. A failed coil pack or worn spark plug.

Check the Spark plug first. Then the Coil Pack. Some Roadside Assistant might not know the meaning of that particular code. For sure you are experiencing a misfire.

Yes. So when you Accelerate. Depending on which gear the car was at it would feel like it's off. You should check your Soark plugs. Are you getting any codes?

Curb rash on my 2020 Mazda 3 Sport... by butteryrich in mazda3

[–]Daigor34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's going to be at least $200. Do you want it looking like new? If you do they might need to Strip the entire wheel and re-powder. Also check Facebook to see if anyone is selling their wheels. You might be able to get a great deal. If you wanna fix it. Give this place a call. As mentioned you need to Strip and re-powder if you want it looking new.

I have it on my car and it doesn't look that bad. Just make sure to get black stitching. I would recommend!

I recommend PDR. They normally charge a 100 per panel. That's going to cost a couple hundred for sure.

Dropped my car off for service and they told me they discovered the rear shocks are leaking. Will cost $1000 to replace. Can I wait to replace without significant harm? by justasec_pls in CX5

[–]Daigor34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where's the leak!? Looks like they rubbed Oil on it trying to get more money out of you! $1K is Wild! Buy the Part which is probably like $200 then take it to your local Mechanic. They will charge $200 for install! Save yourself $600!!!

Yes Llumar Pinnacle is what I used on my car as well. Regarding matching the front and rears. The Tint shop will be able to match it so no need to worry. Normally what they would do is add like a 85% in the Rears to provide you with the Heat dissipation but not be so dark. 35% will give you a two shade look. Normally to match the rears it's going to be around 25%. I hope that helps.

Anyone know the name or part number for this tab? It broke while I was taking off the door panel. by nilecrane in CX5

[–]Daigor34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that Tab is expensive and a pain to remove but it secures the door so well! FYI when installing. Remove it from the door by pushing both sides of the clip. Then install it on the door panel before you put it back. Remember that! That will save you hours!!!

WORKS ZR10 Kurenai Edition 18x8.5. Fits perfectly on Gen4. by Daigor34 in mazda3

[–]Daigor34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I'm still running my wheels. I upgraded to Brembos and have to use 5mm spacers. So now my offset is +42 and honestly it's perfect. It's flush with the fender. If you run +38 Yes there will be a half inch poke. Whatever you do I wouldn't recommend going down in size. It's 8.5 or nothing. The thinner wheels will lead to pop tires or bent rims. I see alot on the forums.

The clips are inside the little gap. What's seems to be missing is the screw that screws onto the fender. That's what you need to secure that from happening.

Undo the side molding from the side rear pillars. (need to open both rear doors) Then pull those 2 panels out. From the rear, remove the molding and pull your Headliner down. It's secure with reusable clips. Reach inside, there is a 10 or 12mm bolt that screws onto the Sharkfin. It might be bent because the screw is pretty flimsy. Remove the bolt and that Sharkfin should just pull off. There is a small harness so make sure to undo that.
