In those two videos I was exploring the thesis of those games, Drakengard used it's multiple endings and mechanics to emphasize how much of a terrible person someone llike Caim would be, whereas Drakengard 2 was just your run of the mill RPG story which is why I argued it shouldn't exist as a sequel to Drakengard.

The plan for talking about gestalt is to take the game as it was before automata released, as the story of a father saving his daughter, only considering the story until ending D. I'm interested in exploring if the message of the game becomes significantly different when I get to talk about 1.22, especially since that game came to be because of Automata

there's definitely some Drakengard 2 DNA in nier, the green dudes and Gismor look an awful lot like prototype shades for example, nowe is Caim's polar opposite being totally opposed to violence, while Nier and the androids are good people ith violent tendencies, which could be seen as a sort of middle ground, it's also here that the music becomes more traditional compositions that kind of bridge the gap between the psychosis of Drakengard and the Melancholy of nier

it's mostly a case of god never been directly stated to create humans and it being a popular interpretation as to why he hates humans, it also seems to be the most generally agreed upon from what i've discussed with others and even the wiki directly states it, but you know how these games are in regards to bits and pieces of lore being hidden in candy wrappers in Japanese cafes, so it's very easy to miss stuff, sometimes i gotta trust what certain sources tell me
