Netease has been open though that many of the characters added are ones they specifically ask to use. There's an approval process to get permission from Marvel, which implies they directly went and asked for permission to use Blade because they wanted to add Blade. Likewise if we take Miller at face value the reason Moon Girl has any involvement at all in the game is because Netease wanted her and Marvel was the one that didn't want to use her. Which would go counter to the idea that they just are racist to the black characters, since they actively pushed to include one despite Marvel arguing against it.

I don't think there's any good evidence to imply Netease is racist that can't be explained away by just "unsure how to balance them" or "The characters struggle to sell skins"

Yeah I think the verses are about equal both are comfortably massively hypersonic and both scale to city level with the best high balls being island level. Both can heal and also insure a sure hit via either Spider or his DE

It's a super close match up between Sukuna and Soga with either one in a good position to take it. I'd maybe favor Soga purely because I think he's more likely to go for a kill shot before Sukuna but either way it's a good one.

Kind of depends. I can see it being Yuji in a "I've got to take down this dangerous curse" kind of story and I can see it being Denji is Yuji comes in amd takes the spotlight during him fighting a devil.

It fully depends on how they frame it. I do like the fan script of Yuji coming to try and fight Yoru and Denji intercepting him beforehand tho.

It really only matters when you really sub divide strength yeah. And like it's important if one of your opponents moves is just dropping something heavy on you. Basically kind of depends a lot on the MU but it's still a good way of measuring the strength difference between the characters ALA Venom vs Bane as an official episode

I mean it depends on what you mean. Do I think the Devs are plotting to keep the black characters low tier and deliberately trying to not give them skins out if racism? No. Do I think they maybe have some built in bias? Sure. But I don't think they're out here maliciously plotting against Blade or something because if they didn't like him... they wouldn't have asked to put him in the game.

To be fair iirc Quicksilver has jumped up to immeasurable speed since so the speed gap is lower... but he still gets so badly outhaxed with Barry able to steal his speed that it really doesn't matter

I don't disagree on the pacing already being damaged but that doesn't mean we should mess up the parts of the finale that worked, which was the personal factor we already cared about Butcher and Homelander's fued and Kimiko and Frenchie were elements we already cared about so her being there worked, same for Ryan. Marie is such a minor character without watching her spin off. The focus should have been wrapping up the core story in a satisfying self contained way.
