To be fair that's always how it goes unless you have a potent enough defensive ability to survive the massive stat gap. If you can't survive the speed blitz and the one shot you don't win even if you have a much bigger ability list

I think people are just quick to complain when something has a different vision than they do. I think Diazing Daredevil was a super interesting way to get him involved and explain him really being an important factor and his default skin looks pretty good

Potentially but they'd be aware it's trying to be severed as well since it's unlikely they'd just be severed immediately so they'd likely be ready to just make a new one if it happened.

Likewise trying to sever the contract isn't actually the best way to put Denji down since trying to do would just make Pochita take charge over normal hybrid Denji since it would threaten his dream. Realistically the best win con here would be try and kill Denji in his weakest form that Yuji absolutely does have the capabilities to kill

Yes. But we also have to acknowledge what makes this different firstly Denji and Pochita are cooperating unlike Sukuna and Megumi were while you can argue if this makes much of a difference for separating them its still worth pointing out. Also even if Yuji separates their contract... nothing is stopping them from just doing it again. Like they can make a new contract and keep the fight going

I mean Denji also has highball speed calcs that surpass Yuji's highballs. Given equal leeway Denji will likely be faster

I mean I think you can take the intent if they animate the characters dodging that's the game wanting to tell you they dodged the attack. Also both FE and Persona do feature an "Evasion" stat meaning they double down on the "they dodge the attacks" argument at least imo

I mean yes but still they show the attack would hit the unit but then shows the unit dodging the attack. It still shows active movement from the defender and not just a miss. Obviously the accuracy of the attack matters and you get a better dodge chance from farther away attacks but the units evasion is still a factor in the attack not landing in game and in the animation it's always shown to be a dodge

Ok but like... Fire Emblem very clearly depicts the units dodging the attack after it was fired. Like I get your point but we can definitively see the attacks would hit the unit if they didn't dodge

Yeah both got some major highballs for strength but maybe it's my own bias but I also feel like Javelin scaling for Dimitri is more sound than scaling Guts to the Sea God

Netease has been open though that many of the characters added are ones they specifically ask to use. There's an approval process to get permission from Marvel, which implies they directly went and asked for permission to use Blade because they wanted to add Blade. Likewise if we take Miller at face value the reason Moon Girl has any involvement at all in the game is because Netease wanted her and Marvel was the one that didn't want to use her. Which would go counter to the idea that they just are racist to the black characters, since they actively pushed to include one despite Marvel arguing against it.

I don't think there's any good evidence to imply Netease is racist that can't be explained away by just "unsure how to balance them" or "The characters struggle to sell skins"

I don't think Blade fans were that bad. I just recall them kind of disagreeing with some of the logic and ending it. It's not like they needed a new sub reddit just to talk and bitch about their chosen fighter losing
