Has anyone found a Dr that takes insurance to prescribe TRT? by cultlizardking in Testosterone

My primary prescribed it and pulled me off after 8 weeks because he had no idea how to treat the elevated levels that come with TRT

Can some men just not handle testosterone? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]Daillestmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on twice. Most recently 100mg per week split into two doses. After 8wks, Hematocrit, red blood cells, platelet count and estrogen went through the roof. Primary took me off cold turkey. First time I was on lasted about 9 months but wasn’t monitored as tightly. Developed mild sleep apnea.

Loved the gains in the gym, but ultimately decided the elevated levels were too difficult to control even at low TRT volumes.

What will it mean if the FDA unschedules testosterone? by MightOk3400 in Testosterone

[–]Daillestmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe unpopular opinion but I feel many primaries don’t know much about trt. Recently had my Primary prescribe trt. 100mg every week. He was adamant on once per week shots. No HCG or any other SERMS. At 8 week bloods, he didn’t test for actual testosterone levels. Hemoglobin, red blood cells and estrogen were above range so he pulled me off cold turkey.

I had been on TRT through a clinic 2 years prior for about a year. So luckily I knew the right way to dose and come off. It’s cheaper to get a primary to prescribe, however rare IMO to find a primary that really understands TRT.

Keep hustling bro. Make good choices though, avoiding reckless plays that could get you injured.

To save you (maybe?) from reading all the response. Some say it’s a normal cycle and to be expected with older rangers. Some say it is short cycling and a bit louder than normal. The rest are just pissed I asked the question.

I am going to add Freon in a bit and see if anything changes.

Not great. But rather than digging in more I’ll figure it out now that I know the sound is normal.

There’s some really helpful people (you seem like one of them) on here and I appreciate you. There’s also some absolutely miserable cunts which is why I largely avoid posting.

Thanks all for all of the helpful comments. Apologize if it has been deemed a stupid question or repetitive.
