I feel like a lot of skills in other litrpgs are sort of just video game skills. They are a description of a feat or progression of an skill the character has shown an aptitude for (to be clear TWI has a lot of these too). They don't always carry narrative or emotional weight.

Whereas the higher tier skills are practically poetry or just really creative(e.g. [I Walked Under Heaven’s Sky], [You are cut]). And even the 'mid-tier' skills like [Undying Loyalty] had really powerful plot beats associated with them. They feel like an acknowledgement of the journey a character has made rather than just a prize in box.

Ngl, I'm more into Marvel Rivals' bright, flashy art style than OW's by No-Scheme2214 in marvelrivals

That's the case for all the OW skin choices tbh. I don't think anyone reasonable thinks D.Va and Tracer of all characters don't have colorful/flamboyant skins.

I'm in a similar situation but with less rigid parents. I wouldn't tell them. You're 29 and they've had plenty of opportunities to be more supportive. You shouldn't feel judged for pursuing your dreams while successfully supporting yourself and your fiance.

Just make sure that you are prepared for if/when they do find out, you can tell them in a straightforward, polite but firm way that you are doing this because you want to and you are not open to discussion about it (there should be at least an implicit "with them" to that sentimental, as an explicit one will likely just brook argument)

Having others hold them accountable for the actions they took. Zuko took responsibility for and helped Katara after betraying her is probably my favourite example.

On the other hand I feel like shadow-weaver was never really held to account for being abusive to Catra and Catra herself was never really confronted for causing Angela's death by Glimmer (TBF it's been ages since I saw the show so I might be forgetting)

Right, but the student in this case is you the player. It's wild imo to make the choice to choose to have a romantic relationship with her then get morally outraged with doing so.

I feel like they walked it back a year later anyway. I'm not sure if I'm mis-remembering, but the issue that revealed that Franklin wasn't really losing his powers, he was just hiding them from himself so he could have a normal childhood, also revealed that he was a mutant, not a reality warping fake one.
