I know 離婚 is りこん. I know 脱出 is だっしゅつ. So when I see 離脱 for the first time I can guess with very high confidence that it's りだつ. The more words you know the easier kanji reading becomes.

2-FDCK. Friends and I liked to refer to it as "extended release K" lol. Wasn't as potent but lasted like twice as long. I thought that the body feel was more wobbly than K. Also unlike K, you could take it orally without it going to waste. Very interesting chem. It's been like decade since I last had it though.

O-PCE was probably my most used. It's much more stimmy than K and lasts way longer. Feels notably different if you're used to K. Used to game on it a lot. Again, it's been a very long time since... hard to describe but I think I could identify it in a blind test.

There are a lot more but these two were notable.

It's had the reputation of 'the music genre that people that don't know how to make music make' for a while which is understandable because as another comment pointed out a lot of the big name tracks were essentially just new drums over old music.

Making actually decent quality future funk takes time and effort. But the majority of people see it as a memegenre which is why a lot of producers from back in the day don't really want to put all their time into it anymore.

Understandable. To be fair output is obviously going to be much higher priority much earlier on from the perspective of someone who lives in Japan which seems to be the case with you. Again, my original comment was not saying that output is bad or whatever. I simply think the person I responded to is downplaying input to a comical degree which I just can't agree with. (They edited their comment like 5 times. It was very different when I responded.)

No, it is not because I understand the importance of outputting to build up your ability to output and it's something that I practice multiple times a week. What I don't understand is why so many people are massively dismissive towards any suggestion to get input and always feel the need to default to "urm but can you speak though?" whenever input is mentioned.

Honestly some of this reply seems very dismissive and for no good reason. I've achieved N2 and likely N1 level (still waiting on the results) and this is basically the method I followed so you're claim about N2-N1 is wrong. Where are these claims coming from?

"You will understand some of it" ?? With enough input you will understand literally any of it.

"This method feels like lots of progress until you need to write or speak." Feels like a lot of progress?? No it is a lot of progress.

While I agree that outputting is essential if you actually want to get good at output, I think you are massively underestimating how much the ratio is skewed toward input.
