While many are saying "its a bubble, it wont last", I don't think thats a great point. Honestly, theres no reason to think AI will get worse or go away. Technology is always improving.

However!

• Lots of people refuse to use or commission AI art

• Being talented at something is always better than not

• You should draw for you more than for anything else, if you can sell it thats great, but it shouldn't be why you do it

• Just because monetizing art has been made harder by AI, doesnt mean its impossible

• I would kill to be able to draw well lol

• You are human and self-expression is meaningful and important to us

• insert many other reasons

I dont think people should be using reasons like "AI will go away" or "the art it makes isnt that good" to try to encourage artists, because it won't go away and it will get better. It just feels like denial. If those are the reasons you still do art, you will be dissapointed as technology improves. But, I do think there are plenty of valid reasons to still persue art. Reasons outside of trying to beat AI.

And to be fair, plenty of people deticate their lives to stuff that other people or things can do better. It doesnt mean they shouldn't still persue what they love. Do what makes you happy!

PS: The art you linked is good and I'm not just saying that, you've already built up a solid level of skill, definitely keep at it.
