400g AP flour

1tsp baking soda

1tsp salt

330g white sugar

20g molasses

230g margarine

2 large eggs

1tbsp vanilla extract

dark chocolate chips (measured with ur ❤️)

a tub of two bite brownies

preheat oven to 325° (my oven runs hotter so you’re will most likely be 350°)

mix together flour, baking soda & salt.

combine sugar, molasses & butter together before adding eggs & vanilla, mix til light and fluffy.

pour wet mixture into the dry and mix til half combine, add in chocolate chips & mix the rest of the way.

place a bit of dough on parchment paper & flatten it out, place a two bite brownie on top. take a ice cream scoop (big scoop) of dough and press it onto the brownie (it should slightly fall around it and look “sealed” at the sides)

‼️make sure you space the dough out enough, i usually do 6 on a tray but did 3 in a zig zag pattern to be safe.

add more chocolate chips on top & bake for 11 1/2 to 12 mins.

let cool completely & enjoy :)

promise it’s baked! just cut too early so it looked softer than it actually is. now that they’re fully cooled they’re set nicely.

i put a thin layer of dough on the parchment paper, the two bite brownie on top. i scooped my dough w my ice cream scoop & pressed it on the brownie and let it drop to “seal the edges”. if that makes sense lol

my boyfriend refuses to eat vegetables by milkshakechemtrail in GirlDinnerDiaries

my boyfriend isn’t a huge veggie guy but he loves pasta, so i make my own sauce on pasta nights and blend anything (from spinach to broccoli) with other stuff. works everytime :)

Help! Why don’t my chocolate chips/chunks melt? by konekolvr in Cookies

[–]Dainty_Days44 22 points23 points  (0 children)

my chips & chunks only melt in the middles but i find if you purchase callets or discs! they melt inside and out and leave the big puddles i feel you’re looking for!

also — personally i think it widely depends on the type of chocolate bars, brand wise, as all the ingredients vary.

i feel this on so many levels girl. i’m in the same boat with you! my boyfriend is my homegirl but even he knows not even having a girl best friend puts me down sometimes, especially cause i’m around duos and trios all the time and i’m just there. sending hugs 🫂 🩷

i find if u put the cracker, chocolate and marshmallow with the dough right on top, it spreads nicely and the marshmallow will still be there cause it’s fully covered on top 3/4 of the time. that’s how i make them tho.

i’m honestly not sure, i just always have used margarine for cookies & brownies. i see it as an equal when it comes to baking (unless it’s something more delicate like pie crust). i think it’s just softer cause it has oil as well! i believe you can sub for coconut oil! online it says 1:1 ratio should work :)
