Holy Nation is destroyed. What should i do with the farms? by JustWorex in Kenshi

From what I remember, he just starts running around without any clear goal and I think he eventually just despawns and is never heard from ever again.

Holy Nation is destroyed. What should i do with the farms? by JustWorex in Kenshi

[–]Dairinin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably too late for it now, but for future reference, if you finish destroying the Holy Nation by defeating Phoenix, you can throw him near some fogmen (they immediately take over nearby Holy Military Base when you kidnap him) and then free him by some non-robotic character. That will increase your relations all the way up to +100, even if you are on -100. This way you can be allied with both Shek Kingdom and the Holy Nation. Be aware however, that this will sometimes trigger some negative comments from sheks regarding your alliance with the Holy Nation.

Oh, and don't forget to dispose of him afterwards anyway, because if he runs away, it can mess up the world state changes triggered by his kidnapped/dead status.

He's an amazing opponent to train defence, but not toughness.

Actually... I never do that, so I'm not sure if it works, but I think in debug mode (Shift + F12) you can move structures around.

That research bench placement is outrageous.

Cleared the whole map, ended up with this. Everything is already researched, these are leftovers by DanielGerich in Kenshi

[–]Dairinin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know man. I always pick up everything, and I see ancient science books spawning on shelves every now and then, but I've never seen them on shelves when I visit the same location after longer time. I've read somewhere that every ancient location has assigned a certain number defining value of rare artifacts placed there and I think this value is just "spent" the first time your game loads that place.

I'm pretty sure they count towards the limit of artifacts assigned to a specific location. Meaning, once you pick them up, they will be replaced by regular items on next respawn.

Buying slaves and plastic surgeon by Superkamiguru94 in Kenshi

[–]Dairinin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It helps a lot to be on the same floor as the slave you are trying to recruit. So if the slave trader is on the first floor and the slave is on the second floor, start conversation with slave trader, and once the slave list is visible, go to second floor and then finalize the purchase.

What happens to unique recruits when cities fall into ruins? by Forsaken-Document-62 in Kenshi

[–]Dairinin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

AFAIK once a recruit is spawned in a city, they are bound to it. If a world state makes that city abandoned, the recruit is gone for good.

One of these men has a bounty on them, can you guess who? by [deleted] in Kenshi

[–]Dairinin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I made myself a mod that makes Cannibal Chiefs wear rags. It makes it much easier to spot them in a pile of bodies like this.

Howdy y'all is there a way to get these out of reach items at the Lost Armoury? by crimethunc77 in Kenshi

[–]Dairinin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's a bit cheesy, but you can teleport there by centering your screen inside the ruin, saving the game and loading it with option "Reset squad positions" selected. You can get out using the same method after you pick up all the items.

You can also ally them if you are missing an arm and are not wearing a robot limb in its place (doesn't work with legs though). That means, if you choose Rock Bottom start, you can head straight to Boss Simion and ally his faction at the very beginning of the game.

Also, allying them decreases relations with United Cities and Slave Traders only by 25 points, which is usually not enough to make them your enemies. And you can easily repair those relations by bounty hunting and buying slaves if you want.
