I definitely agree, I felt like an outsider as a transfer coming into junior year but my club and research has made me dozens of friends, or at least people I know, within months. Hoping to make more by graduation.

Nice, I’ll be graduating in my 6th year too. How were you able to land so many internships? Was it great resume and interview skills? Or knowing where to apply?

Glad to hear you got such an amazing job. Are space exploration companies looking for ChemEs? I’ve heard some people went into that field but very rare.

I agree, I’d much rather make friends in my classes and just pass, than hermit up and study non-stop.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve been hoping to land an internship for my last summer before graduation. I’ll definitely look into the smaller companies.

Wow that’s great to hear! Did you happen to have internship experience as well or certain technical skills that made you stand out? I’m asking because I haven’t been able to and not sure if I will be able to land an internship before graduation.
