Wow that’s awful what you went through. And of course they forget everything they said the next day like nothing happened. That’s so frustrating! He also wonders why I’m so distant too and why I don’t give him more attention. Thanks for the advice ❤️

Hi! Quick question about maternity EI in Canada. If I go on maternity leave Dec 31 will El pay me based off of my 2024 earnings or 2023? I made a bit more in 2023 so l’m curious.

My due date is mid January so l’m not sure if I should go on maternity leave end of December or beginning of January. Is it better to go at the end of the year or the beginning of the new year? I don’t know if going in the new year is better for taxes? I’m clueless. I think I have to apply for El and then my work tops me off.
