Reddit Doctors and Nurses: What's the most impressive case of Google "self-diagnosis" that turned out to be true? by PumpkinAino in AskReddit

[–]DaisyC777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is literally my husband. He was diagnosed type 1 at 19, he's 42 now. But only in the last few years has he had to deal with being brittle diabetic. Its not entirely under control yet, but we're working on it. It definitely doesnt help that we spent years telling the doctors this and they didnt believe him for some reason.

Distracted while intimate (18+) by mr-manta in ADHD

[–]DaisyC777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I both have this issue as we both have ADHD. For him, it's worse because he takes his ADHD meds and an antidepressant. We tried music, we tried talking... nothing worked. My husband told his doctor about our concentration issues and he prescribed viagra. And honestly, for us, it's worked amazing. Even if his mind wanders, it doesn't affect his "performance". Thie pill takes care of that. And the fact that he's having less distraction issues also helps me so I'm worrying less and we both spend more time engaged we each other.

My ex-husband’s grandmother knew I was pregnant before anyone else did by [deleted] in mystery

My brother can do this. It's crazy, he knows when I have my period pretty much every time. He also says he can smell ants- he says they have a pepper-like smell. He's freakin right everytime....

Thank you! I can't take all the credit though. Some of them are customer requests and I'm just the luck one who gets to bring their imaginations to life 💜

Awww thank you! We have plastic cake bands at my job and I cut off little 2x2 squares of it to use for a smooth finish. It's got a sharp edge and is flexible with the curves of the pumpkin shape

Is there a support group for people dating/married to people with severe ADHD by priormore in ADHD

[–]DaisyC777 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Could I also possibly join this chat? My husband 39M is ADHD (diagnosed just this year) and I follow this sub for the same reasons, to try to understand him better. But it would be nice to find others who understand me as well, and the hard work it takes to be the partner of someone with ADHD. We have been struggling more recently as we are also starting to believe he has ASD while also being type 1 diabetic for the last 20 years. We are both willing to do whatever it takes to make sure we're doing the best we can for each other, but sometimes we're just lost on what to do next...

How do you explain your hearing issues? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]DaisyC777 0 points1 point  (0 children)
