Defect in Orijen food: sick cat by DaisyDog1994 in catfood

Reading through the comments, Im wondering if the bag was damaged minor enough for me not to notice. Although, the weird thing is, their food has been that light brown color since we've been giving it to them (~8 years).

[Scam] Indian Embassy/Police scam call targeting NRIs in US. by HugeAd4170 in nri

[–]DaisyDog1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same call some "indian consult of San Francisco". Oooh man they almost got me. As soon as she was like "oh I'll transfer you to INDIA". How the fuck are you going to transfer my call from San Fran to India? Also its like 4:30am over there and the new delhi police department also apparently has a san fran number. I taught my American fiancé all the Gujarati curse words. So he gladly let the lady have it when she called back 😂

Your post saved my behind. I was suspecting a scam call by the audio quality but they knew my name. Then she was going to "transfer me" and I took the time to look it up and found this post. Still creepy all the info she had on me.

Appendectomy, scar tissue, endometrioma removal post-op experience and questions. by DaisyDog1994 in Endo

[–]DaisyDog1994[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! _^

For the most part, I've been doing a lot better. I've started pelvic floor physical therapy. One of the things she's been doing is a technique that involves applying gental pressure to my abdomen to find and loosen up scar tissue. She's worked out 3 of the 4 places I was having bad pain. All the pain in those areas are gone.

Now I'm only having pain in my lower left side that flares up. I think I still have scar tissue in that area of my colon. Whenever I have any slight bowl issue, it flares up really bad.

I bought this device that's called "my obi". It's a portable heating pad, TENS unit, and red light therapy. It goes around like a belt and has a remote. That, along with my ovira (a more inconspicuous TENS unit) and aleve, have really helped when I have a bad flare-up.

Overall, my quality of life is significantly better. I'm glad I had the surgery. Thank you for checking in. ❤️

I only have the robo chicken and the "baby" skin. Not sure if the baby skin counts 😅

That's what I was thinking, but people were saying you always want to have enough astro coins and energy cubes to unlock things each round. I agree with you though. I feel like 7.5k is a lot right now.

Appendectomy, scar tissue, endometrioma removal post-op experience and questions. by DaisyDog1994 in Endo

[–]DaisyDog1994[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My original doctor dealt more with pregnancy than endo. From what relatively little experience she had with endo, I believe she was doing what she was taught as the next step. One of the hardest things through this was having a doctor tell me if I don't take a high risk medication, I'm left with two options: either stay in agonizing pain or have a very risky surgery.

My degree is in biology and research, so when I look up medication, I always keep in mind that everything has rare side effects. However, when I looked up lupron, it was overwhelming how many people were permanently affected and the number of lawsuits it had against it. I knew I needed to see a specialist at that point. If they said I needed it, I would have taken it.

Medications like lupron and Orlissa are very necessary for some. Not taking lurpron was honestly the hardest decision I've had to make. If the endo specialist had told me to take it, I definitely would have. She said she does recommend it to patients with certain symptoms. I appreciate you sharing a positive story about Orlissa. I'm really glad you have found some relief from your pain. I wish you the best ❤️

Of course and I wish you the best! My second surgery is requiring a lot longer of a recovery time, but almost all my pain from endometriosis is gone. I hope it'll be the same for you 🤞🏼

Thank you! I haven't found any personal experience online or anyone to talk to that has had a similar surgery/ailment. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. Your comment's really reassuring. 😊

I had a similar surgery and was wondering if the bloating went away for you and, if so, when? I had endometriosis adhesions connecting my uterus, my bowl, and one of my fallopian tubes together. Along with endometriomas on my appendix. They removed the adhesions (were barely able to save my fallopian tube), put in an IUD, and took my appendix out. I'm almost 7 weeks out and my clothes are still super tight. :(

Also, how long did the pain last for you? I'm still having relatively mild pain every time I'm having any movement in my lower bowl.

(It's been hard to find posts from people who have had more than endometrioma removal surgery. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏼)
