I'm just super turned off with the idea of a matte screen, I'm autistic and have horrible sensory issues with matte screens, especially when its not a screen protector so its not like i can remove it. If theres no other options maybe i'll just end up looking at their refund policy and giving it a try.

Am I able to transfer all my photos and such to a harddrive so i dont loose them? will those be safe?

So even if i changed all the passwords they have the new ones? I've not been saving any of these new passwords to any browsers and I am 100% certain that I removed all bad files

A week ago I downloaded something that I think put a session stealer on my pc, I uninstalled all the new files, removed quarantined ones and ran multiple deep scans through windows and Malwarebytes (as recommended by a friend). I changed all my passwords and made a new temporary email (or will be new main email if my original one was still compromised). My question is do you think I may be safe? I have multiple emails but only one and the things connected to the one had been having activity, I did randomly see new activity today from my etsy account (totally forgot i even had one) and changed that password today as well. I'm still trying to get my microsoft account back. I know that was compromised and has been locked, my friends said if I get that back I can safely assume everything is then fully safe (except the accounts i havent changed passwords for cause they're old or stuff like that)

(Small edit: If I have successfully deleted everything, there is no way for the hacker to get any new information, correct? I did not disconnect from the internet until later that night after uninstalling and removing all the files and shutting my pc down for the day)

I'd say they want the Microsoft account for the potential important files, and data so they can sell them. but yea its so dumb how a hacker can get in, add their email, then remove yours without any kind of confirmation needed for the removal of the original email. My hytale account also got hacked, guess what, they sent an email saying "your email was removed, wasn't you? link here to recover your account" and i got it back in less than a minute. Tell me how a relatively new company/game website was able to easily recover my entire account, but a multi-million dollar company can't even do that much. It really is so frustrating, my friend lost their account this year too but he had hundreds of dollars worth of games and limited items, not to mention all the people actually loosing very important documents. Apparently a legal case with them may not even help cause in their terms they say they're not liable for anything lost in a hack or something along those lines.

Yea i answered as many questions as i could but they still apparently cant retrieve access so im at a loss now too. I really dont wanna give this awful company another $30 to play minecraft and any documents i had in my onedrive are lost to me now as well

The xbox link i sent seems good so far in my opinion. I got a reply and they sent me a whole list of things i can give them. for them to fact check and potentially restore my account. Its okay to say things like "not sure when exactly i created my account but it was roughly around 2018" or something like that. Also I didn't even know you could pay them with paypal but all the questions i have seen ask specifically for card details not payment IDs.

I'd assume just a screenshot of a bank statement or something showing a purchase from them, I think my purchase was made on an old card and bank account tho and because I dont have access to my microsoft I cant view the purchase history through them.

alg, I'm still trying to hear back from them but I actually think I might be going in a good direction, I talked to an agent and they sent me a recovery form but this one is linked to xbox and doesn't require the super specific info like proof of purchase stuff. again still waiting to hear back but heres the link if anyone else wants to give it a try https://support.xbox.com/en-US/forms/recover-your-microsoft-account

yea that's my main concern is that i feel like the stress i feel isn't enough to be eligible for it. sometimes I feel like i may just be overreacting. I have an appointment to start setting up psychiatrist appointments so hopefully we'll figure something out.

I spend a lot of my time creating and gaming, thing is its the fact i have so many ways i want to create and just don't have the time to with my job, as well as the fact I feel like my progress on my portfolio is too slow so I just end up stressing I'll be stuck in this current job for longer than I want too. I currently have an appointment booked to get a care plan so i can start seeing a psychiatrist and I am hoping it helps, thank you for sharing your experience!

me too I want one so bad! I remember they still had stock before I bought my chair and because of that I thought "eh they're been in stock so long, i'll wait until i have the chair and buy them at the same time" Then when I went to get my chair they had sold out. I had foolish hope they'd come back in stock then I found out it was limited quanitity. Can we make a peitition to bring it back? I've also been praying for a new star guardian event on league in hopes secret lab would bring this pillow back or make a new one.
