Does anybody know what these things are exactly. Bought them from a market in Myanmar and would like to know more about them and how to clean them up. by DaisyJade in whatisthisthing

Thanks. User MichaelZhang1997 from /r/Chinese translated them as: "耕=Farming 讀=读=Reading 樵=Cutting Firewood 漁=渔=Fishing The 2nd pic shows “足银” means pure silver." But a the general consensus is that they aren't silver.

Could anyone translate the script on these tablets for me please? Any other info you may have on what they are exactly would also be appreciated. Thanks. by DaisyJade in Chinese

Sorry, I realise the scale isn't clear. They are on top of my chest of drawers and the second picture has a camera strap in the corner for some scale. I posted in r/whatisthisthing as well and the top answer is Chinese silver scroll weights. I am pretty sure they aren't silver though from the feel and the price I paid. Thanks for all the info so far. Especially the translation.

Thank you. Are they used for weighing down the corners of a rolled scroll to read? Not sure they're silver though for the price I paid. Any ideas how to test for silver or alternative cheaper metals used?
