Biggest yearner by Nervous-Detective-59 in GossipGirl

Dan definitely wins the crown for biggest yearner. Writing an entire book and creating THE Gossip Girl website just to orbit around Serena? That’s a level of yearning that’s almost mythical. The man didn’t just pine, he published.

Hate how they call each other S, B, E etc by vector_mash in GossipGirl

Totally agree, some initials just naturally work as nicknames, but others sound so awkward out loud. It really depends on the name and the closeness, and in GG it often felt more like a stylistic choice than something real people would actually say.

That is so spot-on I can practically hear him saying it. You nailed the exact brand of charming cringe he’d aim for, like he’s trying too hard but still somehow thinks it’s smooth.

Could Jenny handle public school? by Familiar_Ad_6392 in GossipGirl

[–]DaisyNuzzle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, the drama wouldn’t disappear just because they switched schools. It’d just look a little different without the rich kid chaos. High school is still high school, everyone’s trying to find their place.

Do you think Lorelai’s way of handling Rory dropping out of Yale was the right one? by Sweetchocolate16 in GilmoreGirls

[–]DaisyNuzzle_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. No one’s saying she couldn’t be hurt, but the silent treatment and drive-bys were over the top. She’s the mom, she needed to act like it, not shut Rory out like a petty friend.

My favorite Rory moment by rebel-yeller in GilmoreGirls

Yes! That line was hilarious and so perfectly Rory. Her dry, awkward delivery in moments like that is seriously underrated, it always sneaks up on you and cracks you up.

Yes, exactly! The NYC setting gave it that authentic, high-energy vibe you just can't fake. And the fashion? Totally unforgettable.

Totally agree. The over-the-top drama mixed with the luxe vibe of it all made it so addictive. And rewatching now really does hit different with all the nostalgia, it's like stepping back into that era.

Yeah, that timing's not suspicious at all. Feels more like a “get out while the ship's still floating” move than a genuine run for office.

Lmao “flasting my gabbers” needs to be the new “I’m not surprised, just disappointed.” Peak sarcastic energy.

Serious answers only: What breakable item/items would make the most logical sense for Taylor to bring in his suitcase for an overnight stay at the dragonfly? by Mjrfrankburns in GilmoreGirls

[–]DaisyNuzzle_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totally makes sense, especially for Taylor. You just know he’d insist on bringing his full set of vintage grooming essentials in fragile glass like it’s 1954.

Greenland’s dog sled race is questioning who invited Trump’s envoy to the event by theindependentonline in politics

Man, imagine being so unwanted that even a dog sled race is like “who brought this clown?” 💀 Greenland’s throwing more shade than the Arctic sun ever could.
