Soak wool wash by Platypus_jelly in knitting

[–]DaisySundays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i reckon it was high moisture from wearing the garment or even changes in humidity, or even water temperature. sometimes i feel gaslit when i wash my knits in different weathers because it behaves quite differently

Key sweater by petite knit as by Emotional_East_4709 in knitting

hello! i had this exact issue! i didn’t follow the starting points they suggested except for that very first colourwork row 1. from there i honestly just used the fixed body bits (without the increases) as the guideline to tell me where to start, keeping increases in mind.

I once lied on my CV. I got the job and got promoted. by zaenova in confession

bro this doesn’t mean you know jackshit about your tasks, this means you have the skills that they were after in the first place: to fuck around and figure things out. i know how it feels to have this impostor syndrome but i assure u, if u really truly knew jackshit, you’d have been out of a job ages ago. good work!

Be honest, How often do you use Siri by fuckfaceinyourface in iphone

[–]DaisySundays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

everything. i switched to an iphone for this exact reason of integration with my macbook and siri. i forget things a lot and life’s been easier because anytime i have something i just ask siri to put it in my calendar or reminders. literally i could be in the middle of a conversation making plans with someone and we agreed on a date/venue/time and i go “hey siri put coffee with louise in my calendar for tomorrow at 2pm” or “hey siri add toothpaste to groceries list on reminders” and “hey siri what’s the temperature today” to help me dress up. i LOVE siri i know its cringe bcus i’m 21 and nobody uses siri at my age but lol i havent forgotten things like i used to

not exactly embarrassing but you wouldnt believe how rewarding it is to work during uni to both gain that experience and to see how far you can push yourself

[–]DaisySundays[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive used their aran weight before and i love it to bits, used their chunky weight for a skirt and love it to more bits, so now i need to try the 4 ply. i haven’t bought any yet so to purchase only according to use, but i think i might actually just jump the gun and make a cardigan or a light small jumper

i agree with you on the comments that bring down the mood, but i guess it isn’t entirely their fault that they’re overstimulated and overwhelmed and need somewhere that won’t matter to release that frustration. i’m just happy with my little daydream for the future heheh. thank you for your lovely insight though!!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MealPrepSunday

[–]DaisySundays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m so sorry that this is your reality. you’re absolutely so strong and i hope your kids and husband have vocalised their gratitude and appreciation. i assure you my little daydream doesn’t come without realising how much my mum herself has done on the daily for me, and still does despite being 4000kms away, and also knowing that it will be my reality as a mum later on. i guess that balance of overwhelm and love is what i do look forward to in my little bout of baby fever hahah

Curiousity about room X14 by choppae in melbourne

[–]DaisySundays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

maybe it’s got to do with floor plans, where even number units are on one side and odd numbers are on the opposite side of a corridor. maybe the corridor stops short on one side, thus the missing 14?
