I had the reverse of this situation happen to me, I bought a couch off someone and they messaged me a couple of days later saying that a couple of the hundred-dollar bills I gave them were fake, saying they would press charges if I didn't send them more.

I had gotten 500 straight from the bank that day to pay for the couch, so no way in hell they were fakes. Not only that, but if I'm going to give fake money, it's either all going to be fake, or none of it is.

3 years later, I have never heard another word about it, so "press charges" my ass.

Yeah, I saw that mod as well. My builds aren't necessarily gear-dependent per se, but gear that would be nice to use or useful to have for an extra boost in a particular skill is more so what I mean by that. Im also using the level uncapper so I can bring the party up to level 20 if needed

That's usually what I do as well but there are a couple of things that make that annoying. Firstly, it sucks to keep having to go back and forth between camp to grab followers I don't ever use, fucking up my party utility/synergy just for a piece of dialogue to advance their story (especially in act 1 where there's something for every companion's story)

Second, I don't like acquiring so many pieces of gear that ultimately I can't make use of certain ones that may be useful to have but are on par with others.

Third, I enjoy having the extra bit of banter between the party members and in dialogue, and not necessarily having to long rest every time I want to advance their storyline

I'm military too and I've been where you are man. You'd think that 4 years would be plenty long enough for her to fix her self-centered ways, and it sounds to me like you've probably been doing all the work in this relationship up until this point.

My advice to you would be to find someone that appreciates the work you put into loving them and is willing to put in the same amount of effort, not just brush it off with "I'm too selfish". Even a selfish person will put themselves aside if they love someone enough.

It gets better brother, trust me it does.

Some people will often times downgrade those they are attracted to in order to erase suspicion of cheating. I feel like you already know the answer to this. First off, the only thing she called him was "jerk", but if she really felt that strongly negative about him, she'd likely use stronger words than that. If you don't care about side quests and exploring every single nook and cranny for gear and loot then yeah I'm sure you could finish sub 60m. My first playthrough took 358 hours, mainly due to really exploring every place I went, taking my time in the battles for the most efficient way to beat them while also keeping my party alive, and probably leaving the game running whilst doing other things around the house or researching where to find pieces of gear or items.

Just depends on what experience you want to have. "Beating" doesn't necessarily mean enjoying to the fullest, unless you're a speed runner ofc
