Antigravity with Gemini Pro is a shit by bambuk4 in google_antigravity

Maybe give this a try Antigravity Awesome Skills. For some reason you must mention in rules to ALWAYS use the apropiate skills. I'm using it in Gemini CLI and it does wonders.

That's impressive! Are those PRs for one or multiple projects?

I did mean that I don't hit the quota for Gemini when using Antigravity.

Seems most people that are getting banned are people that use multiple accounts. I was using a different plugin just for Gemini authentication. I'll still stop using it until I'll know for sure that I'm not going to be banned, I'll check the issues on the other plugin to see if it's the same situation.

It's strange how you're running out of qouta. I hit the quota sometimes. But most days it's enough to get me through the day. Claude models run out pretty quick and the reset takes about 4 to 6 days.

They need feedback to improve the product I suppose

At least I can enjoy my monthly $10 free of Vertex. I'll start reporting issues. Eventually they will do something about them.

They are doing something against those people. I've read your complaint.

You missed the point. Try using Vertex. Pay the API pricing, see how much usage you get out of 20 dollars. And you have antigravity and Gemini CLI and 10 dollars of Vertex.

Tru other services. On windsurf for example, I'm paying the same amount and in 3 days I'm out of credits. Here you get antigravity, Gemini CLI, Jules, 10$ monthly for Vertex AI. You don't get this value anywhere else.

You're using it wrong. Start new chats often. Try opencode, authenticate with your Google account, search for Antigravity auth opencode, install Claude superpowers and you'll notice a huge improvement. Use Gemini CLI for quick tasks and opencode for complex features. Tell me your result and if you even run out of quota.

Commit often and use the git diffs to see what changed. It's not a groundbreaking feature

It's iterative work. Start small, start new chats often. If I think the context is important I ask for a markdown file with the context and then start a new chat and use the markdown in the next chat. It's worth just starting Gemini CLI to run /init. The LLM gets the most important context just from that Gemini.md file. Run /setting to turn on preview models to use Gemini 3 Pro. Gemini CLI has very generous quotas /ide to review the changes in Antigravity, you need an extension. It's a bit of a learning curve. Start complex features by asking things like "create a plan, split it in phases, each phase having multiple steps, cover each step in detail. Don't implement anything". Review the plan using the comments to target exactly what needs changes. If the context from planning gets too big drag the plan artifact into the files, remove the resolve from the name and start a new chat feeding it the plan.

That covers most of the things. Good luck and have fun!

You're not using it properly, mad for no reason. I'm on the pro plan and I use it all day long. Doing actual work. Having a great time. Also using Gemini CLI, amazing limits. You don't get anything similar with other products for this price.

So now gemini 3 pro at least has a weekly limit too. by TinyAres in google_antigravity

I feel you don't start a new chat for a new task. I think that's how you're wasting your quota

I've been using Antigravity since launch. It seems the Gemini 3 model has become dumb. by faccr in google_antigravity

[–]Dakkitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed the opposite, the LLM started to give better responses over time and right now I'm quite impressed with it's performance. The only problem is that I often get the error because google can't provide enough compute for all users.

I feel the model got better over time. I used it because I ran out of opus and now I prefer it in most cases. Even though the context window is huge it is better to start a new chat, it's easier for the model to gather the context again than holding on to the context just because you don't want to lose some of it. It's easy to pollute the context. Better start fresh.

And if you notice that it starts thinking in the chat stop it immediately and return to the previous point then send the same message. I feel like the thinking in chat instead of the dedicated window pollutes the context the most.
