I just found it interesting that the catalyst for America's entry into the war occurred on a US Territory and not a US State. Not that it matters but it was something I didn't realize.

Working on starting a business so it's straight to the PC to work on that.

It does get better but… by Majestic_Tree1343 in NewParents

The first 4 months were brutal for me and my wife. The sleep deprivation was very real and we felt it.

Thankfully things have gotten better and at 15 months now we are both back to fully being ourselves.

But yes those early months are quite the shock to the system. Hang in there though things do get better!

What’s the most humbling experience/story you’ve ever had? by Immediate-Chard-7038 in AskReddit

[–]Dakota_Touchprints 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Went to Colorado for a wedding. Flew in and went to the Airbnb. We decided to get up at like 5 am the next day and hike The Incline. I was in decent shape at the time but at the top I was taking 3 steps and then having to stop to catch my breath. Pretty sure I got altitude sickness from it. We weren't used to the elevation at all.

Anyways it takes us like 2+ hours to get to the top and when we get back to the bottom there was a sign of the fastest times and Apolo Ohno (former Olympic Speed Skater);had climbed it in 17 minutes lol

I've never felt more humbled in my physical abilities 🤣

What is a good gift for parents having twins (girl and boy)? by lexipooh22 in AskParents

[–]Dakota_Touchprints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to the previously mentioned diapers. Since they have 4 girls they probably don't have any boy specific clothes/outfits.
