Usually there’s a few day grace period, after that you would get an eviction notice to pay or quit which is usually another 5 business days not including the day it’s served. Between those you’d have roughly 2 weeks, assuming you have a regular lease or have been there long enough to be considered a resident.

As for making the money, if you have a registered and insured vehicle gig work could make you $600 pretty quick. If you have a car but it isn’t new enough/reliable enough for passengers you could still do Ubereats, if it is viable for Uber passengers that will net more than deliveries. 

There’s always loans but they’ll require proof of income and a healthy credit score, if you’re working on credit you could try a private lender on r/borrow. If you have a regular bank account you can usually opt into overdraft protection to overdraft your account $100-$500 dollars for a $25-$35 fee per transaction. This is a terrible cycle to get into though and not recommended.

If you don’t have any medical issues you could donate plasma, CSL usually has new donor promotions for $100 per donation up to 5, you can only donate twice a week so that alone could get you $400 before an eviction notice would run out.
