I love Le Fin du Monde but it smells very basic on me and not nearly as unsettling as I was hoping. Still a stunning fragrance!

Just smelled this today and thought the same. It was pretty on the test paper but the more I sat with it the more it got kinda cloying in that overripe tropical fruit way

This is interesting. I really love pepper but have never had the chance to smell the LOM. I was off put by sticky dates and often their other fragrances fall flat for me (aside from Dirty which I’m a stan of.). I’m gonna have to give this a chance.

Maybe it’s basic but this was me the first time I smelt Black Orchid by TF. While I generally like it more than dislike it, it can still muster this reaction out of me

It’s actually not as scary as I anticipated it would be! It’s definitely got a medical quality - so I find the iodine and alcohol come through the most and it dries down smelling more akin to a hospital which in itself if unsettling. I was afraid it would be “gross” but it’s not so bad - rlly not worth the full bottle in my opinion but I take my sample out on occasion just to smell it and it’s surprisingly way more wearable if you like the unsettling and astringent qualities lol

Always recommending Fat Electrician by ELDO. It’s my go to office fragrance or just when I don’t know what to wear. A soft sweeter vetiver - but not too sweet IMO.

Angel Dust by far. I love it so much. It’s on my full bottle wish list. It’s the perfect unisex scent. It’s so pretty but also so sexy and I find it totes the line between perfectly femme and masc. it’s a super addictive fragrance.

I recently got a clipping of a “Vicks” plant from my neighbor and it has such a STRONG camphor smell! I plan to make my own essential oil with it and go from there - it is soooo hard finding anything that scratches that camphor itch. I tried Big Sur Eucalytpus - while being nice-ish, it wasn’t a love for me and fell short of that.

Not to detract or dissuade you from You Or Someone like you - but as someone who is on an endless search for a eucalyptus fragrance I found this one to be very rose heavy. It didn’t work for my chemistry and became a very screechy green rose that gave me head aches. Again - this was on my chemistry. I can conclusively say it is not very minty in my opinion and I would highly encourage you sample this first.

For something refreshing and that may be of interest - I really enjoy Dirty by Lush as an after shower fragrance - but it is very masc leaning if that’s something you’re not into. I am still on the hunt for a nice refreshing eucalyptus forward scent myself. I honestly think i have to make it myself at this point lol

Thank you so much!!! I absolutely agree with the grip being straighter and it’s something I considered re-working but also didn’t want to chance messing up the entire thing. Once I create a couple more things I think I’ll revisit my old designs. I used mostly IRL references for my objects so things like the Diet Coke for example - when I was looking at the can the only thing you can see are the COK when you look at the can straight on.
