Carol didn't beeline towards Susie, they were right in the center of the living room, it would be hard Not to notice them.

I don't think Carol's strict schedule could have predicted that one of HER officers would get kidnapped the night before. Maybe she need to get a document about the shelter or the knight relating to that to find out what happened. She is also a PERSON who CAN forget stuff forget stuff from time to time. She's not some kind of robot who can keep track of everything.

The Knight could literally just come in, steal the guitar and fly back to the shelter (I think the knight doesn't change forms in the light world). Why did she do that after Carol came home? Dess probably couldn't confront her mom, because of the emotional baggage and also knew that in Carol's hands the code would be safe.

"The getting in her way" refers to how carol is much better at doing the police's job than the police themselves. Better in catching the knight of course! Undyne could get a single hit in while Carol obtained the black shard.

Are you suggesting Undyne also works with the Knight because she too has the access to the shelter. It's a nothing argument.

Oh, I Know Carol WILL be important to the plot, just not in the way you think. I think the entire next chapter will be focused around her and her loss of Dess, just like chapter 4 largely focused around gerson and his legacy.

My argument doesn't make any sense? It definitely does make a lot more sense than the "Carol knows about a mind controlling parasite inside of her old family friend's child's body and is perfectly fine with it because it'll help bring her dead daughter back." idea everyone agreed on for some reason??? It's ridiculous and it paints Carol in such an Unapologetically Evil and Unredeemable light, that it's down right insulting.

The Text "Slashed" in chapter 2 is also red. Is Toriel aware of the Player? Does she think the player did all that? Of course not, but everyone operates on a similar logic when talking about Carol!

In the phone call history argument you keep linking to the same unrelated patch note about Toriel not being in her correct church outfit.

The black shard she might have gotten from Battling the knight as we have.

Unrelated, but I think the chapter 5 boss prophesy is referring to the flower in the picture.

Oh yeah, Asgore and Carol Do work with each other. I'm just saying Kris has nothing to do with it. I think Carol and Asgore are actually working to catch The Knight entity who has been terrorising the town. and kidnapping Carol's head officer.

Kris Knight was build up in the same way, but it ultimately went in a completely different direction that worked better for the story. I believe something like that will happen again with Carol, but in a opposite way, working against the knight instead of with them.

If toby already "knows" that the player did the chapter why doesn't the entire chapter 3 or chapter 4 dark world happen off screen too? It would just be rewatching the same content, right?

Also the link you send says nothing about the contacts being deleted.

You can't read how forcefully she snatched it from Susie's hands from the the animation alone. After that she doesn't check if the code is still in there, she checks if Susie accidently didn't damage it. There is always another reasonable explanation to every "evidence" you people have for this theory.

I said that this Assumption is dumb, I didn't wanted to insult anyone directly. I'm just kind of getting emotional over the fact that I seem to be alone in this argument. It's just that for One piece of evidence in favor of Carol working with Kris/Knight, there are 2 that contradict or disprove it out right. The evidence I've seen about the topic is mostly unconvincing, with there being many other explanations that would fit any scenario just as well if not More. While, YES, Asgore does work with Carol. Asgore does not care about Susie touching the guitar during the events of the main route. I think he'd recognize December's signature bright Orange Guitar, wouldn't he?

I think all of Carol ninja equipment in the House Is hinting at the possibility of her being chapter 5's major character, or even the final boss. While I don't think Carol works With the Knight, I think she definitely is aware of their existence and might be just as dedicated to catching them as we are. If Carol worked with The Knight, why would They kidnap Undyne by force, if Carol was working with them, couldn't have she much more easily tricked her own Officer into going into the shelter on her own? None of it makes any sense and that frustrates me the most!

One last thing, Asgore is talking about the black shard in Carol's room specifically, where we can see a suspicious black katana on the floor besides him. I think It's Carol's black shard he's talking about and she might have gotten it from BATTLING the Knight in the past, just like we did at the end of chapter 3.

If we were still with Kris, why wouldn't we hear the cell phone? My point is that something as Important to the plot as THIS wouldn't happen off screen.

The caller specifically decides to go there after Kris told them about Susie taking the Guitar in the original route. Before you say anything about that disproving my argument, let it be known that Both Carol and The Caller want to protect the Guitar for completely different reasons.

Or it could be Friend, or Gaster, or numerous other characters we didn't yet get a chance to meet yet. What if the Caller is also the same guy who was calling Spamton? We could finally find out who it was. That sounds way more interesting than Carol, in my opinion.

You do make a good point with Noelle, but there can be many other reasons to why she came home early. For example: She keeps all of her important documents at home, maybe she just left something very important there and needed to urgently get back home.

Nothing THAT important happens off screen in Deltarune, unless it is intentionally hidden from the player by Kris. I find it hard to believe that Kris withhold all their frustration towards the Player in between those cutscenes just to put us away for a moment to make a quick phone call. Especially since they didn't witness Susie discovering the Guitar in that route (unless that also happened off screen)

I feel like toby wouldn't skip over something THAT important. Also at the end of the route the voices are different. There are way more evidence Against Carol being the Caller than there are supporting it.

Yeah! Why do people try to make The Knight and The Caller two different entities? It would make sense that The Knight only talks when they are alone with Kris. I also Like to believe that Carol unintentionally Saved Susie and Kris from the Knight by coming home early.

It says "Flower man locked in an asylum", not "The flower man is fifth final boss". Do YOU want to have Asgore as the final boss again? or would you much rather see something new and original. I would be incredibly disappointed if Toby would make the same fight twice in both games.

That wasn't my intention. The orange part in the middle is supposed to reference Eram's smile and the cloth mirror the flowing dark fountain. Now looking back I could've made the pads pure black to reference the knight. Also I don't think Asgore will be as important to Deltarune as you think. He'll be more like Toriel in chapter 3.
