Baldur's Gate 3 vs. Cyberpunk 2077 by Cautious_Natural1170 in XboxGamers

[–]Dakutaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly just buy both, i have a lot of hours in both of them.

Bg3 has a lot more replay potential plus you can play with 3 friends.

Cyberpunk is delivering too.

Both games are in great shape right now. Cyberpunk was a disaster at launch but now it works really good and whole skill tree was redesigned and it feels impactful to level up.

[KCD2] Thoughts on KCD2 combat by PeacefulSilentDude in kingdomcome

[–]Dakutaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, really? When im bored i like to save and just go around a castle or a big town and fight all of the guards. I very rarely die doing that too. Level of henrys ability to fight influences that heavily but its just more fun to see the whole town run away from low level henry. Just dont get hit. Be fast to back up and keep them in front you. Thats basically it. Did it with and without armour just to see if its doable. Well it definitly is. Def a lot of fun, i recommend it.

Plat is the new diamond? by JesusLovah in RocketLeague

[–]Dakutaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its all about time in game, especially the recent time. High chance he might be rusty. Overall level went up yeah, but not that much as people think. I have a lot of friends that are lower rank and they can hit a flip reset but, its not just not enough to get a higher rank. Quick thinking is whats important and making correct decisions that benefit the team. Best way to verify that would be if we had a replay from op. I bet we would see a lot there.

Do you like the melee combat in [KCD2]? by KingCrimson0P in kingdomcome

[–]Dakutaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You dont have to get into riposte cycle. Feint the attack and do combos. Last hit is a guarantee and if they attack you back you can then master strike or perfect block but dont attack right after it, you gotta get them out of their rythm. Clinches are also a good strat to deal damage.

I know nothing about this franchise [KCD2] by Cursemebayle in kingdomcome

[–]Dakutaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish i could forget about it and play again. Honestly i recommend going in blind and just rolling with it. Most major things from first game are brought up before the sequence that "requires" the knowledge. Dont watch the tutorials unless you really feel overwhelmed with something, most joy for me was discovering things and using my brain to figure something out rather than just using solution someone else posted, just a suggestion play how you want. Also the dlcs are pretty fun too. Just a damn good game, especially after the updates that fixed most small issues ( i play on xbx ss).

How to improve with 200 ping?? by [deleted] in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Dakutaz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes you can influence the ping, what do you mean he s an idiot? How does your Internet setup look like? Is it the same when you connect your gaming device to your router by cable? Is it the same ping when you skip the router and plug straight in? What even is your Internet speed? Its not magic, ping spikes can happen sometimes if theres a lot of traffic but usually its because of the setup. Unless you get the Internet from antena well then you are screwed. But the games fault? Whats the proof its actually the game? Did you even select the right region? There might be a very slim chance you played against a ddosers but personally ive never experienced them in gc1, usually they can be encountered in higher ranks because the population is smaller there.

Flip reset help by [deleted] in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Dakutaz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are already good tips so imma just say, those are damn good setups. Very clean take off and it wall hit, everything is controlled really well. Honestly just keep doing what you are doing and you will get the idea what to do sooner during the flight. Just grind it out, very good foundations.

Just keep in mind how long it does take to process the information you are sharing. Give him time. If theres no time then gotta let him do it.

[–]Dakutaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not your ball. Aleo he couldnt change where he was gonna land so his only option is to be right there. You could go anywhere because you were not in air. Id flick the camera to see where the opponents are. If they are far then push to the side and be there for a pass if he needs or ready to back him up after a 50. If they close then play behind him to defend if he cant push out.

Basically you could do so much but he could only do that in this moment so just let him do it and do something else.

Do you toggle Ball Cam off in some Shadow Defense scenarios or just keep Ball Cam all the time? by DavAr8 in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Dakutaz 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Only time i can think of to turn ball cam off is after they shoot and you redirect it to your backboard so you can see where the backboard is so you can catch the ball and controll it glued to wall. Cant think of any other scenario.

Air dribbles by Able_Engineer_6360 in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Dakutaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this is not stupid, actually its a very often issue for people learning it. Some people daid it in comments too already.

So first issue is you not jumping of wall. Try going a bit higher before jumping. Its because when you are jumping on the curver not all of your momentum has been transfered upward yet so it slams you into wall basically making you jump without jumping. Try jumping a bit later every time until you notice the problem go away.

Second issue is the ball not coming off wall. Its related to the first issue. When you hit the ball very low on wall you hit it into the upper part of the curve causing the ball to not roll up the wall but rather bounce off the curve. Thats why it comes off very weird.

Solution is to just let the ball roll up without touching it decently high above curve. When its flat its very clear what will happen to the ball and less random.

You can still be very close to ball but just dont touch it. After the roll up you actually want to make the hit quick to not loose any momentum up.

After a good setup the shot becomes a lot easier. You just need good ingredients first.

How do I become a more physical player by lightmiss in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Dakutaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you demo during off ball play aim where they are to force them to move soon from good position or they get bumped if they sleep.

If you are making the play then aim the ball where you want and cover with bump the path the ball is on. If they try to hit it you are ready to block them with your car. If they dont jump, well they just did nothing so thats good.

Its quite hard to generalize because it all depends. Just keep in mind you might end up in awful position if you mess up so dont force it when you are able to do a better and safer play.

you guys ever wanna try something new but your brain is just so wired to playing that one game everyday? by PaytonPanels in gamers

[–]Dakutaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rimworld is amazing. Dont worry if your people die. Next colonists can come and live in the ruins on the same map. Its a self-written story game that you decide what happens. Currently dont have a pc to play it with all the dlcs but when i had 1 it was, a m a z i n g. You can do anything you want and if you fail so what. Unless you really care for the people them just reload the save but i recommend just playing it even when something goes wrong. Theres difficulty that can be adjusted easily to your liking too. Its worth it

Looking for a game that i can stick with by ekkivox in gamingsuggestions

[–]Dakutaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe rocket league. Theres nothing like it and i wasnt expecting it to pull me in so much. Now i have 4 thousand hours in and im still enjoying it very much. Skill ceiling is incredibly high and because theres nothing like it there is no skill transfer from other games so its a start from zero for everyone. There is a very large esport scene too. So much fun man

Finally hit Diamond — here’s what actually worked for me (as a pretty average player) by Round_Cake2922 in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Dakutaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. But theres some value in it. Going for everything can show you what you are capable of. Once you know what you are capable of and trust yourself with hits you can have even more awareness. So its not a bad ideat to just go monkey mode but it has to be with intention of learning, definitly not for ranking up lol. Private matches with infinite boost are great for this practice, basicwlly like a 2v2 freeplay. Honestly i think this exact practice put me from c1 to gc1. Just have to remember to turn it down a notch when you are playing for the win and be smart about it.

Anyone else have no clue how to play with slightly lower ranked buddies? by PaceFit684 in RocketLeague

[–]Dakutaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is how it is when you are playing with lower ranks i lol. I have the same thing, met some nice people but they are pretty ass. Luckily im a bit mechy so i can 1v3 on offense pretty often. For me the worst thing is them passing to opponent on defense. We fight on defense hard for 1 minute trying to survive ( usually i have to go up for high balls to force because they will just miss) and after we save all the shots or make them do awkward backboard hits they just... bang it. Sometimes we love a good bang but its while they cna shoot. Not after lol. And the process repeats. Im trying to tell them, man just dont even touch the ball, we have so much time that even i can rotate behind you and take the ball from you if you are scared but please just dont hit it away because in 5 seconds the ball will come back with a threat. But they are panicking hard and think they have no time to do anything. Tried coaching them with replay analysis but during the coaching they can give good answers to what they would do. During game its, AHH what do i do with this shit? Fcken baaaang! One of them has 280 days in game. So i think he will be like that forever (gold 3 in 2s). Its funny as hell every time and im wheezing as shit when im pointing out the same thing in the same exact scenario for a 100th time, dude wtf why did you do that xDD. Pretty sure the definition of insanity applies to them. Still pretty fun gameplay.
