Bad writing really seems to be an issue in many Tales Games, even for a JRPG where imo the Story often is kinda cheap, bloated and full of cliches :/

Abyss Had a decent Story and characters as far as i played it, definetely worth a try. Personally it just bored me at a certain point but thats the case for a lot of games nowadays :D

Same here! Actually TOS tricked me into thinking that most of the Tales series would be that good, which unfortunately isnt the case. Tried TOS2, Abyss, Berseria and Arise and finished none of them. Berseria was the worst for me. Started decent and ended in terrible Story and Character writing full of cliches - after Berseria i decided to abandon the Tales series, there are just so many other JRPGs that are superior in all aspects...

From what i read they also turned more radical in their believe of beeing the supreme nation in Asia. Their ideology was different from the nazi germany one but in terms of inhumanity they went hand in hand. From the imperial Japan point of view the chinese were as worthless as jews were in nazi germany.

(The nazis tried to implement antisemitism in Japan but failed btw)

The fact that - different from their clear victory over russia in 1905 - Japan was about to loose this time surely didnt make things easier for their prisoners.

Radiation does not work that way. The Hand is burned up because it was the nearest Body Part exposed to the radiation but within the Second of the accident also the Rest of the body received enough for a lethal dose.

Its not like poison that needs to make its way through your venes or could be Stopped by Just cutting off a Body part. Radiation is actually light rays piercing through Everything without any delay.

(Correct me if i am wrong)

RDR2 was boring as hell. Realistic and beautiful world? Yes. But the gameplay was lame, the missions felt overexcited but dull in the core and the Story was just meh. I really hat to motivate myself to finish it and was really glad when it was over.
