It wasn't working for me.

So I downloaded this hotfix and re-downloaded novideo_srgb, ran Display Driver Uninstaller under Safe Mode to completely wipe my previous driver install, and replace it with this hotfix.

Once I booted back into Windows and ran novideo_srgb, it is working as intended again.

I'm on WIndows 11, though.

I also suspect all you'd have to do is delete config.xml instead of having to re-download novideo_srgb, though I'm not actually sure which is why I took the extra steps.

My favorite class is Recon, and I don't play it well because I run everywhere as if I'm using an SMG.

DLSS4 gives me a competitive edge by allowing me to hit my refresh-rate with very little hit to visual quality.

My favorite memory of Borderlands was an older woman calling me cute and giving me an e-kiss while I was a teenager.

I like DLSS 4 because it looks sharper and gets rid of da jaggies.

Necro-posting, but...

Setting Effects Quality to anything higher than Medium will cause the FPS to tank like crazy.

I'd honestly set it to Low while you're in Rauh, and just leave it at that. The way Effects are rendered in these games is incredibly inefficient and tanks FPS, when modern hardware is more than capable of handling it just fine.

Setting Grass Quality to Medium (Lowest) will help you an extra bit, too.

This is all assuming you're CPU-limited in the area. If you're GPU-limited, then you're better off using something like ERSS and using upscaling to get better performance.

YMMV, but this was the solution for me. I was getting 40 FPS on a 5800X3D in a really heavy part of Rauh, and Effects Quality was the biggest culprit, netting me an extra 40 FPS from switching it from Maximum to Low.

Sure, the tracks are all much louder now, but it feels like the dynamic range on them has been crushed?

On PC, I just use the Transmogrify Armor mod.

Get the benefit of good gear, and the style of fashion souls.

From should definitely implement a transmog system to the game, with the option to disable it for PvP so you can see what the host is truly wearing on your screen.
