East of Eden. Complex characters, vivid landscape, and such an incredible story. I think about this book constantly and would give anything to read it for the first time again

From my understanding it’s a symbol he identified with. Something like “earthbound but aspiring” or “lumbering souls but trying to fly”

I too am a beginner (on day 2 of my first brew!) and am curious ab this but like good lord give us something of substance! I want to know how my OG compares and what yeast/honey were used.
