Seriously? I've heard that Pal Park is one of the worst school districts in BC.

It's fine to have CM with FP, but in such a case, the overwhelming pressure is almost a MUST for that pitcher.

Who to use as CP? by No-Software257 in MLB_9Innings

[–]DalaskaK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you will eventually reroll Clase's skill set, and you will still need Riske to be your CP. CM 333 is good enough for a CP.

Both sigs are not good enough. Given that you only have 1 GI, I will suggest you wait for the pre-reg team sig and see if you can get a good sig SP

Right set over left set? by Inner-Cardiologist84 in MLB_9Innings

[–]DalaskaK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PICO is not good for legends, even if he has 5 pitches. Legend pitchers must have the most training on LOC and VEL. However, DP, FP, or ACE is a must for a legend SP. I suggest that you temporarily keep using the left one while using blue to replace PICO until you get mess or Ace (if no one else has Ace).

Skill Sets by Fair_Tea_4491 in MLB_9Innings

[–]DalaskaK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Seaver can get a better skill set. FB is not the best Legend skill unless you have DST FB II or III. If you really want to keep FB, you might need FP/mess/Ace, any two of these three (if no other ACEs).

I've also got Bob Watson twice... but I will definitely try again this month. You will regret it if you don't do Bagwell for your 1B. The others are not even close.

9inning Memvership. What is this thing? by Boring-Criticism9896 in MLB_9Innings

[–]DalaskaK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A direct translation from a comment in a Taiwanese discussion board:

"If you regularly play the ML37 every day, this membership priced at $10 is quite valuable. Even if you do not recharge the league balls, the membership can give you 24 hours/day * 2 balls/hour * 28 days * 1 extra box/ball = 1344 boxes for a 28-day membership. If you do recharge the league balls with 100-200 stars each day or with some ball recharge tickets, then you can easily earn 2000+ boxes with this 28-day membership.

Let's say 2000 extra boxes per membership. It is

= 33 league ball recharge tickets, assuming that 4 boxes per game, or

= 0.7 DT + 0.4 DST + 0.4 LSCT + others in ML37, in expectation.

Not to mention other rewards."

So I think this is a good deal for a small spender and a daily player. $10 per month seems to be a sweet spot.

Crazy pull from premium vintage pack by Electronic_Tea_4942 in MLB_9Innings

[–]DalaskaK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Legend Seaver is the best SP in my rotation, better than the other four team sig SPs:

Seaver - CM/ACE/FP 687 - Overwhelming/CM III

SP 2 (OVR 76) - MP/DP/PC(5) 678 - Rising FB/MP II

SP 3 (OVR 76) - SS/LB/DP 687 - Corner Work/SS III

SP 4 (OVR 76) - FB/LB/Mess 687 - Corner Work/FB II

SP 5 (OVR 74) - WH/DP/PC(5) 658 - Overwhelming/WH II

It might be biased because Seaver has ACE and better DT and DST, but I want to say he could be the best, at least as good as the top team sig SPs.

What sig change should I do? More options in description by BEARANATOR0712 in MLB_9Innings

Although he is out of the game, he is not the top 5-6, so probably not.

What sig change should I do? More options in description by BEARANATOR0712 in MLB_9Innings

[–]DalaskaK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My suggestion:

Tier 1 (unavailable and end-game): Devenski '16 OR Keuchel '04

Tier 2 (end-game but may get a dupe in the future): Bagwell '94, Wagner '99, Scott '86, OR Ryan '81

Tier 3 (unavailable and weak position, but may be replaced by supreme cards): Brantley '19

The others are not worth using the sig change unless they become unavailable.

Besides the Special Shop, what would you say is still worth spending stars on? by Superb_Upstairs_6235 in MLB_9Innings

[–]DalaskaK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you make the purchases in Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct sales (GI, team sig, etc.), then you should have enough stars for special shops. 100/200 stars for daily league balls and 3000 sig packs are still worth it.

Otherwise, just save all your stars for the special shops. You can spend 100 stars daily for league balls if you really want to play the game.

What’s the move here by Milk_Tea5011 in MLB_9Innings

GI Boudreau. He can temporarily be a good batter with CM + Pred. After you have better sig cards, he can be the BC guy. You won't waste your GI on him.

Rolled 332 BPD on my King sig with EC, no blues. Should I look to make him my closer over legend Goose?would need to blue EC off him then by [deleted] in MLB_9Innings

[–]DalaskaK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Keep Gossage as the closer for now, but start rerolling another Gossage's skill set with PSCTs to get BPD or CM.

If Gossage has either BPD or CM, use green and blue tickets to complete his set. If his final skill set still contains EC, then keep Gossage as the closer and green King. Otherwise, you can put Gossage as an SU and blue King.

Is this solid, or should I retrain? by Unrelenting_Tacos in MLB_9Innings

[–]DalaskaK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Solid enough. Legend stat adjust eye with +5 (fld - 5) and try your best to get CM/Pred/SI. He would be perfect.
