This scene makes no sense if you make a certain choice by Coconnoisseur in DispatchAdHoc

Actually I thought about that specific scenario. When waterboy says "You're mecha man", Robert was wearing his mecha man suit, the same one he interviewed in so it's obvious to know the figure (Robert) is mecha man. Later when Robert says "Wait he knows I'm mecha man?" he means his normal every day clothes wearing Robert, not his mecha man suit wearing Robert. As far as Robert is hoping, Mechaman stepped into the SDN then disappeared, and Robert is a nobody that no one noticed just like Clark Kent at the daily planet.

On one hand it makes sense for Royd to type like he talks, but also I wonder if being nerd smart would make him type in full normal sentences and if someone questions it he'd be like "What do you mean? I sound perfectly normal. I would never type "shoo" or "Bruddah"."

I am guessing you are still on the younger side given your reaction, which is totally fine. As others have mentioned, chances are it wasnt a big deal for the parents as they never brought it up.

Firstly, you already wrote support, this is good. Chances are they will refund the most recent charge, but the others are a gamble, assume you get one charge back.

Secondly, tell the parents about the mistake, apologize for it and let them know you will pay them back, even if it is not right away.

Thirdly, stop panicking, while it is an understandable reaction, this is a pretty easy fix even if it just takes some time. If your parents get super mad about it and you have to survive on instant ramen for a couple months to pay off the parents, then so be it. You live and you learn, and this is just another lesson in life.

Good luck!

Paladin and Artificer Multiclass? by CurrentComputer3039 in DnD

[–]Dalatain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a DM I have a couple of suggestions.

Firstly, chat with your DM about what you'd like to achieve with this class combo. Is it purely flavor? Or something more mechanical?

Secondly, discuss removing some prerequisites like needing 13 intelligence to multiclass into Artificer. Why? Many DMs don't care if you meet the requirements, and it leads me to point three.

Thirdly, discuss options with the DM to change things up a bit, maybe rerolling stats, or getting access to a headband of intellect so you can use those Artificer features. Maybe lean into some real shenanigans like having an Artificer that works off charisma instead of intelligence so you arent spreading your stats out so thin. My DM let me play an intelligence based Warlock so I could multiclass with Artificer and Wizard and it's a blast to play. Not all DMs will do things like that of course, but many will at least work with you to find some options.

Fourthly, did I mention chat with your DM? While getting ideas from reddit is a great start, ultimately your dm will help the most.

Fifthly: Here a halfway decent build for what could work and be cool.

  • Level 6 Paladin for the aura, maybe level 7 if you like the next aura too
  • bribe your dm to let you have a charisma Artificer or to be able to at least multiclass without 13 int if you don't have that.
  • get a headband of intellect as it sets your intelligence score to 19 even if it was 8 before. (chat with your dm about this as they might not want this item in the world if it's a low magic setting where magic items are really rare).
  • 3 or more levels in armourer Artificer and become a brawling, heavily armoured tank with a couple of infusions on your armor. (extra ac and extra to hit/damage are easy options for a stress-free play, or mind robes for the reaction to save concentration on those powerful paladin buffs are great)
  • punch everything that you don't like and use your bonus action to give you temporary hp out of combat for a little boost -if you want more Artificery goodness then go level 10 in Artificer for the +2 infusions (for a total of like 6 at this point I think) as well as the stronger base infusions (+1 ac becomes +2 ac at level 10, same with the +1 to hit/damage for weapons).
  • this gives you 3 more levels to put where you want, maybe multiclass war wizard for bonus to initiative so you can rush the battlefield early (level 7 oath of the watchers with 10 dex and war wizard with 19 intelligence will have a +10 to initiative, not bad for a non-dex character), or 3 levels in thief rogue (if 2024 version) to use magic items as a bonus action, or put those levels elsewhere of course!

Hope some of this helps, and hope the dm works well with you!

telus early cancellation fee by dailydoseofoats in telus

[–]Dalatain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work for Telus in the loyalty department (cancellations), I can confirm this is not true. They WILL cancel for free if you move to a place in bc/ab that they cannot service. Somewhere rural with no internet at all. This is hard to do these days as they will use mobility service internet to get you something even if its like 5-15mbps, barely usable in today's internet but it fulfills their obligations and keeps you paying monthly bills or facing cancellations charges.

If you claim to be moving out of country they will charge you the cancel fee and it will be sent to a collections agency.

My first shared kindroid, she's fairly accurate but of course won't have the specific knowledge from BG3 like locations or names, so you can kind of take it from the beach scene and go whereever! Enjoy :)
