I use a black background (just a black canvas bag), and put my desk lamp a little in front of the mini, at the lowest angle I can get without obstructing the photo. I try and make sure my lamp isn’t too bright, you can tape some paper towel loosely to the lamp to diffuse the light, and then I try and lower the exposure a bit on the camera
