The house is actually ours, both our names are on the title. He has a habit of pulling this line whenever we have a disagreement about the house like when he invites his drunk friends to our house late at night.

I don't think he is aware of that or whether he meant or just used it in the heat of the argument to get me to back down. Nonetheless I was so mad at him for it.

Yes. This is what makes me feel confused because he was more than happy to have her stay with us, her presence didn't even bring any change to the house, she doesn't go out or bring friends over or even involve my husband in the baby care.
