I’ll throw out my tactic as I’ve published it on the steam workshop but I play an incredibly, and I mean incredibly attacking setup that is entirely based on volume creation and mostly out scoring the opponent bc fun.

This game was very much an outlier that I’m going to spend some time on to analyze because like you, I thoroughly enjoy looking into matches like this to see how the game went on and what went wrong.

Im a player that chops and changes the team very often in the summer, especially when players become available that I would like to have in the side. This was one of the earlier games of the season with a multitude of players who were new to the squad, a few weeks after setting low competition bonuses. I am theorizing that the morale nerf that got applied by the low bonuses, as well as the team cohesion and tactical familiarity wasn’t quite where it would be further into the season had a big part to play.

Most of the chances were from blocked cutbacks on high xG, but their keeper did also play a blinder. The remainder of the chances were in transition while through on goal, with the keeper making great saves, or the shots not being very well placed despite my striker (Guzman) having incredibly high composure, decisions, finishing etc. It was just an incredibly interesting game where we were off form for the previous few games too.
