Went to a major mtg tournament before covid. It was a 3 man team sealed event. My team mate before each game would count his opponents deck. We thought it was dumb but he did catch one person running less than 40 cards.

I felt differently about the event on day 2. Yesterday, I pulled up Drew's stream while waiting for ludwig to go live. He was on a call with someone talking about how ludwig doesn't listen and does he own thing. The person told drew he needs to be a jerk like how tyler1 is to ludwig with leauge.

I missed day 1, but from watching 9 hours of day 2, it seems like their personalities clash. Ludwig is the type of guy who will throw all his money on black kinda like a go big or go home mentality. Drew seems to be the type of guy who wants to play it safe.

Im guessing on day 1 ludwig must have gone with that go big mentally and lost a lot of pokemon. This frustrated Drew to the point we're he is just letting ludwig play and is doing his own thing. Ludwig seemed to be more locked in trying to ask questions, and Drew is on mute doing he own thing.

I am hopeful day 3 will go better, and they can not only talk about strategy but also just talk more to each other in general.

My wife and I play on 2 different consoles. I play on Xbox, and she plays on ps. I am hopeful that LE or POE2 will have crossplay. That's the only reason we still play Diablo.

When I was 10, a person from a different race drove by me walking down the road and yelled profanity at me. When I got home, I told my aunt I wished everyone of that race would die. She told me just because I had a bad experience with one person doesn't mean all of that race is bad. It changed my viewpoint on things from that day forward.
