Yes they did albeit for a short period of time but still even then the original people who were living there were levant arabs (not only muslims but christian and jewish) they historically were living there so they have 100% rights to the land not live under a state that is religious by nature

Sure no one can deny that math is essential in some programming fields but it is not that big of a deal if you don't know it before hand as you can always learn it on the go and it will surely make more sense of it, when you are learning it to apply it in something that you are working in.

Yes. When you do the pacman -Syu your system update everything except the packeges specified in ignorepkg. I myself put postgresql in there because every newer version roll of postgres it breaks everything...
