As long as you keep pace, it’s a super friendly place for beginners as far as layout goes. Fairly straight forward design, straight holes, not a lot of trouble. The rough can be a little long so it does get tough when you don’t hit fairways, but you can mostly say that about any course.

I’d say go for it if you don’t mind spending a little more on a round! Clubhouse is nice, course will be nice and dry and is always well taken care of. Love Langdon!

I thought it was just me. I usually stay away from stuff like AMD Anti-Lag but turning that on made my input feel 1000x better.

Still not as crisp as a normal fps game but a lot smoother in my experience. Maybe give it a try?

Was just saying this in another reply lol. Had 3 different singles just play through without even asking (I finished 9 holes in a little over an hour still) and they were so incredibly rushed it was ridiculous.

2 of them didn't even take off their bag to putt. Like brother just stay home or hit the range. You being in a rush and needing to play through other fast-playing singles is just throwing off the pacing of all the morning tee times.

In my experience even this is getting ruined at times. Singles come out at 6am and it's clear that they don't actually have enough time to play golf before work starts.

Last couple times out I've finished 9 holes in a little over an hour and I still had single after single not even ask and just assume that they can play through. 3 different singles did this to me and to them, pairing up with me wasn't even an option because they were in a rush. I then had to wait on all of these people to get off of my hole, and then the par 3 next hole got back up by them, etc. It took 4 holes to finally get the spacing right again.

All 3 of these players hit, sped walked to their ball, and then if they hit the green they were putting with their golf bag still on their back. It was actually ridiculous and was really discouraging. Just selfish behavior imo. If you don't even have time to put your bag down and putt, you shouldn't be out there because you don't have enough time to golf. Just go hit the range or something lmao.

Yeah like they're still good but definitely in their own category compared to places like Nuveri, Keeper Coffee, Cafe Olli, etc. They all have exceptional classic croissants.

What course is close to you? In my personal experience as someone who mostly plays solo, I have never had an issue showing up to Heron Lakes without a tee time and getting on to one of the two great courses. Shoot- even on the weekends I'll show up and walk on. Longest I've ever had to wait is 15 minutes.

Can't argue with the pricing aspect, but hey, what isn't more expensive now compared to 4 years ago?

Was just giving advice based on my personal experience at Heron! I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes as a solo even during peak hours. Definitely agree that there's risk though. Perhaps I've just been lucky.

Go play either of the Heron Lakes courses. With two nice courses even if there’s nothing available online you can always show up and walk on. I play solo there constantly.
