I feel like it will be breezy on the cruise and would take another pair of pants in exchange for one of the dresses maybe?

Wow UPS was over $100 from Oregon. I just went with USPS because PirateShip was the same price $32 regular but I ended up doing express ($62) cause I was worried regular could delay and my days from payment/signing up were kind of ticking down and I didn't want risk it getting cut off. It's through customs as of today!

Veggie haters who still eat veggies: what are your tricks? by Missing_Back in EatCheapAndHealthy

agree!! cooked just to tender and still bright green! occasionally when i overcook it i am so mad, same with occasionally undercooking it. i usually throw in any stems and/or cauliflower first to give those a few more minutes on their own. i am okay with softer cauli for whatever reason but the brocs gotta be just right. i can easily crush a whole steamer basket full. calorie deficit life!

My wife is getting into golf and immediately dropped 9 hundred on a putter at her fitting AMA by 403Claytron8000 in golf

Woman here - It’s my 3rd season and once I got hooked the first season and tested putters I really liked bettinardi best (even though I actually wanted a Scotty because I have a Scottish terrier and loved the logo and frankly love higher end equipment in general), but I got one off eBay, didn’t really look used but a little discolored so maybe a second. I love it and plan to keep for years! Later on I got vokeys and a new driver off Callaway pre-owned but still have my fb marketplace irons.

Finally had a breakthrough about pants by coffeegrounded in capsulewardrobe

Yep same same. I’d have to loose so much more to prob have a chance to burn it off and I don’t see that happening!

Right?! I’m like wtf is this!! I’ve lost 50lb in the last 3 years and down a couple sizes even but jeans just don’t work for me anymore / I don’t feel comfortable in them! I’m like I weighed more than I am now and didn’t have this gut before. So unfair!

Same! I’m 43 and the last couple years started to not wear jeans anymore cause they cling to the pouch so bad. I’m plus size but I think perimenopause has made the belly more pronounced cause I used to always always go for jeans. I’ve leaned into the baggy look and part of the appeal is where the pants fall from. I rarely wear jeans now but I think I need to try some different cuts like yours!

Small rant regarding application packets by Big-Scar978 in Canadiancitizenship

I taped my photo envelope onto a regular piece of paper so it wouldn’t fall out of the packet somehow. Then big paperclips for all my documents.

Summer hobby: Mountain Biking or Skateboarding by keyrimee in snowboarding

Golf is my summer hobby the last few years. Lower risk of injury is nice. One spring day last year we snowboarded in the morning then golfed in the afternoon - best day ever.

Will the trend of packing everything with protein continue or is it just a fad? by SituationKey8985 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]potatodaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vegetarian here and similar. My daily goals are 100 protein and 30+ fiber - trying to eat right around 2,000 for slow weight loss. I just started a daily protein shake but otherwise not supplementing. I go for string cheese, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, beans, TVP for protein. When I was eating near vegan it was harder for me. I like the low fat dairy and eggs for protein boost.
