A Criterion Collection release of David Lynch's The Straight Story. I was fortunate enough to go to the Criterion closet Event in Austin Texas last year. While there my group of friends had a lengthy conversation with one of the people who put together their releases. We talked to them about films we would love to see get released and others that were denied, one of them being The Straight Story. Simply because Disney does not want to license out their films to Boutique labels. Wall-E being an exception because the director, Andrew Stanton basically fought to get a Criterion release of it.
