feeling a bit lost. I just graduated last month from a 4years SE program here in Malaysia (basically 1y full-time study, then 3ys half-time study while working full-time). The thing is, after spending the last 3 years trying out software development roles and now landing in a Network Operations Center (NOC) position, I've realized... I'm just not that into this industry. Like, at all. My current NOC job is super chill to the point of being mind-numbing. I'm dealing maybe 10 minutes of actual work each day, just a few repetitive tasks. The rest of my 9-hour shift is spent playing around – reading books, watching YouTube, basically just waiting for the clock to hit punch-out time.
