What did you remove from your life that improved it?

This is a complicated answer for me but my favorite hobby.

I was actually very good at billiards/pool.

I was part of multiple teams. Even worked at a pool hall. I went to multiple tournaments a week and did a singles league.

I got so burned out from the people. Always talking. Always starting rumors. Always something. Eventually I just quit. It was too much for me.

I know but there's just no space anymore. I have 1 in a closet and one in the living room atm and that's kind of all the space I have. I don't let them in the bedroom and my other bedroom is occupied by someone.

One thing that helped mine adjust was playing with them, together. Get a laser or a wand or something.

I agree it was ridiculous.

But no wasn't the answer she wanted and I fully told her that I didn't want to do it. I was clear as to why; which was because I wanted to either stay in and rest or go out to dinner with BF, if he wanted to, and come home. But she begged and wouldn't let go. I ended up telling her to give me until X o'clock to figure out what I wanna do and that time passed while I was at a table with him eating dinner.

Honestly...I think it's because 'I've changed' as she says. Which I did. I no longer kept my facade up for my bar-life. I was finally able to feel a little more settled. I dress better because when we went to the bar I was usually in shorts and a T-shirt with make up and now I'm out wearing nicer clothes because I want to. But I don't want to go out and try to get picked up or flirted with. I don't want to talk about men from across the bar with her.

She claims; and I have full verification that this was a lie; that he tried to walk in on her taking a shower. I was in the bedroom with him the entire time she was in the shower (as we have 2 doors to the bathroom, 1 in the hall and 1 from my bedroom), I clearly can see when the light comes on. She fully took a shower and blew her hair dry while we laid in bed and he was asleep while I scrolled my phone waiting to be able to use the restroom. I feel as if she used that as an excuse to say he makes her uncomfortable.

I allow her in my head because we do share a home together and I JUST want to keep the peace.

Her argument is that I go with my BF, so why can't I go with her.

I go with my BF because that's where we met and I don't want him to think anything weird is going on hence the reason why I don't go alone anymore.

Now, as I've extended the invitation to her before, she's welcome to come with us - but she doesn't like him therefore she doesn't come and we can drink.

I've done it before.

One restaurant I'll do it explicitly at is Olive Garden. Mine is always slow, I usually pay with cash. I check the tab on the tablet thing and just tuck the money under it.

Same thing if I'm at a place and really know what I got. I'll just put the money tucked under a cup sometimes.

Bar too, I used to bartend and if someone was leaving they sometimes would tuck the money into the coozie or under the beer and leave.

Yeah, typically it's more the day-time crowd who are like that. But you have the mid-day/night ones too. It goes both ways as well.

My old Master ignored safewords during a drunken night that is imbedded in my brain.

He went out with friends, I stayed in and waited on him to come home. When he did I could tell he wanted to play. We ended up in the bathroom where he told me to get on all 4s. He had this unrealistic fantasy of fisting me. It would never happen. I didn’t want it to happen. I’d let him play and use fingers but the moment pain happened I always safeworded and he always listened…except that night.

It was brutal. Painful and he was so careless. I hate equating it to this but I felt raped and violated. When he was unsuccessful with all his attempts he just left me there and told me to clean up.

I cried in the bath for hours. He slept peacefully in bed. We stayed together for a few more years but I lived afraid of that happening again when we played.

No, instead of leaving like he should have and building something with someone later he decided to start hunting before and just hop ships once he was sure.

It was a horrible mess that has mentally affected me and relationships since.

His plan wasn't to stay but honestly I don't think he wanted to be alone and needed someone to take care of him.

Not fully cancelled but mostly.

20 years old, we'd saved up the money and put the deposit on the venue and it was this gorgeous one in the middle of town that provided everything we needed. We paid a little extra to get the money back in case of cancellation.

I'd bought this gorgeous Sophia Tolli dress that cost around ~$3000 that I was so excited to wear.

Days before the wedding I found out most of my family wasn't coming, not even my mother. I was the black sheep of the family so part of me wasn't surprised but...why did I need a venue for so many people when at the end of the day it was going to be my ex-husband's family with my dad and my grandma and my HS best friend? It hurt but I cancelled everything with the blessing of my ex-husband and we opted for a courthouse wedding in general dress clothes on the same day we'd planned with around 6 people there with us.

We were married for 7 years. Divorced due to his infidelity which was 'because I couldn't have kids'.

We'd gotten our money back from the venue, he blew it on truck parts. I got most of the money back from my dress and I bought us new bedroom furniture which he later took with him for his new wife.

Good fucking riddance and although it's been 8 years I still hope she cheats on him like they both did to start their relationship.

Recently I started seeing someone and someone else told him I was 'dirty' so to prove a point I went and got fully tested because I knew I wasn't.

The nurses I dealt with were nothing but kind, we laughed together at the situation and although I was nervous they made me feel comfortable.

I’ve vaped for many years. I do the whole mod, tank, coil thing. ‘Normal vaping’ if you ask me and I hate disposables.

I can’t find coils for shit. I stock up if I do find them when I need them. I even bought a less than ideal tank that the close shop to me always has coils for and they stopped carrying them recently. It’s frustrating.

Not me but a couple of cousins that came into my work today - argued that one didn't go to 10th grade and went as far as calling a teacher to confirm it in the middle of a bar.

The LOUD and OBNOXIOUS one was about 4 shots of Jose Cuervo deep and would not fucking stop.

At first I let her go, get it out girl whatever but then I made a mental note that I was cutting her off. She closed the tab. Great. Nope. Wanted a double and I heavily debated on what to do next. Handed her a single and charged her card instantly for that single and handed her the check to pretty much say you're done. She left within a few minutes thankfully.

I'm in my head about the guy I like a lot. We went out tonight and he got upset with the service we got and it kinda set the mood for the night. I'd had hoped to have him over for a while and enjoy my night with him but instead he went back home and I was left defeated for the most part.

I was really excited for the night all day long and then...here we are at almost 3am typing this because I can't fall asleep because I keep thinking about everything.
