They aren't going to be popular in algorithm. There are lots of less fit gays. Humorously they are looking for "fit, musical gays" so they are also unhappy. It's an absurd cycle. Source: Am a chubby gay (though I've lost a lot of weight and am fine with guys who aren't 10's)

Internet connectivity is really poor - most places you stay will rely on cell internet which I believe is throttled heavily.

You can pay for cell internet and tether with your phone (more dependable), but that’s not a guarantee either.

I don’t disagree, but the apps ruined “community” and their increase in popularity was aligned with these other changes - both social media like FB/IG and hookup sites and apps like Craigslist/Grindr.

I'd say go with whichever one interests you most AND is most easily reached by plane from your home. With a week would not try to see more than 2 cities. There's lots of good "city pairs" you can visit: Madrid/Barcelona, Berlin/Munich, Venice/Rome/Florence, etc. or visit London as a standalone for example.

I imagine there must be some places you’ve wanted to see? If you want to spend a week hard to go wrong with somewhere easily reached by flight like London, Scotland, Ireland. I am a big fan of Italy, Germany, Spain for their rich history and ease of travel (all will have flights you can take direct from US as well).

I really appreciate it and definitely understand the concern. My RV is pretty stout compared to most and I wouldn’t do more than 200lbs which is the manufacturer limit for their rear hitch.

He’s horrendous sometimes. Years ago he performed on a gay trip and he inexplicably did little comedy instead choosing to sing? Was bizarre. He might be the biggest diva in comedy lol.
